AA has improved our digital strategy extensively and provided the required leverage to place ourselves above other peers in the O&G Industry. We were able to develop quick digital solutions by demonstrating the ROI and gain momentum by aligning the desired resources & budget from leadership.The advantage of Automation Anywhere is that you don't necessarily have to come from a programming background.We have improved on IQ Bot collectively with the normal Taskbot that we use. How it got started was that we have a lot of scanned documents to input for our solution. So, I used to get a lot of scanned documents, and extracting or reading the data from those has always been a pain area. We always used to bring a manual person in to do it. Once a manual person did that activity, it was brought into Excel where I could run the bot. With the entry of IQ Bot, it now takes care of my scanned documents, which means IQ Bot does the OCR extraction and gives my data to the Automation Anywhere Taskbot. This means no manual intervention and end-to-end bot processing, along with a happy customer at the end of the day. We provide these services to multiple clients, so we have been doing this for all of our clients.Scalability is one of the best things about most of the RPA bots. Once you create one, scalability is just about multiplying them.Bot Insights is the most valuable feature. We don't have to struggle with generating metrics around how the bots are performing. This information coming out of Automation Anywhere is useful to us because of the way the metrics are generated. It inspires confidence from our customers.It is easy to fix bug issues which you encounter in the post-production process.Sometimes the customer will not provide any data. Using Automation Anywhere, we can easily automate to capture the customer data. Then, we can use that customer data inside the Cisco Unified Wire Voice Portal.The most valuable feature is the screen recorder, which helps to automate processes easily.

Attended Bots have been star cases as it totally removes dependencies of user literacy to know the application.The tech support that UiPath provides to the licensed user it is really helpful. There were some scenarios when my issue was resolved within 24 hours. Also, I like the constant updates that UiPath provided to us.Our consultants have been able to go through the training videos and pick up the ability to build their own automations.I really like that I am able to tell the story, using Orchestrator, how humans work, how bots work, and how humans and bots work together.I found the UiPath Academy very valuable and it has helped us to understand the product we are working with.Technical support for UiPath is great.Scraping data from the application using OCR and other text validation features is amazing in UiPath.The most valuable feature that UiPath has is the ability to be able to use .NET functions.

Additional features should involve the Cognitive Section where we need more Advance solutions involving ML & AI.Because we are very new to our process, so we're still sort of working through it.I would like a couple more features where I can talk and the line comes up automatically. I can just put on a mic, like in "Ok Google". With "Ok Google", I can tell it to please open an Excel spreadsheet with the header read. If this is there, then I don't even need to sit on a computer, I can just dictate my commands and it will automatically come up.Some things that I do not see as of today are interactive chat or video interface. These are things that I will look for in future. I saw something like picture recognition, but something like a video or voice recognition is something that I'm looking for in the Automation Anywhere platform as an end user and even as a reseller.Version 11 is a bit heavy. At times, it takes a toll on the computing resources. It consumes a lot for computing power. We have seen multiple instances where computers or the client has crashed because of this particular problem. Automation Anywhere can improve this a lot.MetaBot still needs to be optimized, though Version 11.3 did integrate all the commands into it. We are not able to see all the lines of code which are executed in MetaBot.Our current version needs drag and drop, but that should be in the next release.We need more commands for PDF integration to make it more flexible.

The OCR for Hebrew text needs to be improved.While this solution is continually improving, as it is now, the user interface could use improvement when I compare it to a product like UiPath.

UiPath should focus more on recommendations of process automation based on ERP Applications like Oracle, SAP etc. They should also provide a list of possible RPA cases as per departments, processes and based on various industry domains.As in my opinion, debugging needs more improvement. Also, if we get any other tool or technology which helps extract information from the scanned or handwritten document than that will be really helpful as a user and for our clients as well.I would like more incorporation of AI features to allow for intelligent character recognition.UiPath should offer an on-demand cloud-type model where you can get bots for five minutes, ten minutes, an hour, or whatever duration you need.The platform that shows the reports and errors is not too transparent.I would like to see some artificial intelligence for UiPath that would help us with OCR and other things like computer vision.UiPath support needs to be a bit quicker than it is currently.I feel that a Host Admin, being a master Admin, should be somehow able to login to different tenants.

Costs savings have been seen by employing bots for multiple shifts instead of people.If we talk about the automation RPA. it definitely has worked very well for us. I'm talking about giving good savings, about more than 180 FTE savings, after implementing more than 200 plus bots. It has worked well. As an organization, it has supported us very well, and also for our customers.It saves on the quality of work, because the quality can be bad when somebody's doing it. If a bot does the work, it's faster and comes with good quality. These are two important things along with the cost saving in the long run. That's where the value is.We have seen ROI on one of the process, but not on the other processes yet.The licensing cost is approximately $4,000 USD, which is a seed license.The certifications are free of cost.There are a lot of savings in terms of effort and time as well as costs. Automation Anywhere automates a lot of processes. It allows an organization to save the efforts of a lot people. It saves a lot of time because people can't work a whole day (24/7), but Automation Anywhere bots can.We are interested in saving manual engineer man-hours. So far, we have saved $100,000.

The investment is relatively small compared to the potential in qualitative and quantitative benefits that can be achieved.This solution is worth the investment.This solution is not cheap but the price is worth it because by following the documentation and using the support, you get good robotic processes that are stable.The setup cost is minimal as far as other options are considered.I think the setup cost is quite nominal, but the licensing might be on a higher side when compared to Automation Anywhere.If you purchase an Orchestrator then it's pricey but you receive the benefit that it runs many processes simultaneously.UiPath has a Community version that is totally free (including Orchestrator) and has all the features.The initial investment cost is expensive, but I promise you guys this will be very helpful as we can easily automate applications and our productivity has increased.
