Find out in this report how the two Cloud Data Integration solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."We can scan anything."
"The product seems stable enough."
"The way that the solution scans is very useful."
"The metadata management of Informatica is great."
"The most valuable feature is its ability to extract metadata from various sources- be it an old SaaS application or the latest cloud application."
"The most valuable feature of Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog is it provides clients with a full view of the enterprise data assets. For example, how many data assets they have and who owns them."
"I rate the technical support a ten out of ten."
"The solution scales well."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is a huge list of available connectors for a lot of different platforms, which we can use very easily."
"The flexibility has been great overall."
"It is very easy to use for building connectors. It comes with a lot of connectors. For example, it has different adapters for NetSuite, which are very easy to use. It also has Salesforce connectors. The object store feature is also really easy to use. Mule Anypoint Platform is also good in terms of performance and how it is managed behind the scenes."
"This is the easiest and best tool available."
"The product’s ability to seamlessly translate protocols is great."
"Overall, it is a pretty good product. It is also very scalable."
"The tool's visual features are attractive."
"It's easy to develop APIs."
"It is not easy to set up and configure the tool."
"The solution is quite expensive."
"They have to improve their relationship discovery tool. They say that they have AI inside, but this AI did not automatically find relationships or suggested relationships between entities."
"Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog could improve by having a much better user interface. It is not user-friendly."
"The scalability is tough."
"The model is somewhat flexible. There are certain aspects of the model that are not as flexible as we would like. It doesn't do certain things to a great level of depth. So, in situations where we want to drill in to do something specific, we have to essentially copy that data into our own structures in order to add that additional layer of flexibility."
"This solution is hard to set up and its interface is not user-friendly. It's also not as stable, and the technical support takes a lot of time to solve simple problems."
"It is more complicated to extract data using the product compared to Visio. The system could display the details on the screen."
"It would be better if we had a clearer view of the solution's future releases."
"The runtime management and connectors could use some work and are vulnerable to breakage after upgrades."
"The cost of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required, especially when compared to other tools, like Dell Boomi or Oracle."
"MuleSoft's release calendar is rather conventional with two major, two minor releases and hotfixes in between. The competition sometimes offer more rapid release cycles and provides improved and new functionality with a faster time-to-market."
"The price could be improved."
"It has different types of subscriptions. For platinum or lower subscriptions, there are not too many things that can be done. We don't see many features. They should release a basic version that has logging and monitoring features. These features should come with Mule Anypoint Platform for free instead of making customers pay separately for these features. Its dashboard can be improved to have a lot of charts so that it is easy to visualize information. The utilization part can be improved. The dashboard is good currently, but it can be better. Other solutions like Elastic have a good dashboard, and they allow you to administer the product from the UI. Currently, for RTF, there is a different dashboard or utility. It would be good to include the same utility in the cloud solution. It would be good if there is a centralized repository that includes the links to the information about various troubleshooting issues. The documentation is there currently, and it is good, but the troubleshooting information is too scattered. We have to go to different links to find troubleshooting information. This kind of centralized repository would be helpful for new customers who are implementing this solution. It will be helpful to see different kinds of issues that can occur."
"Mule should have better B2B integration."
"The solution's pricing model is very strange, and it will be really expensive if you use APIs a lot."
