Has an easy setup and good technical support
Pros and Cons
  • "The solution's technical support is very good."
  • "The stability should be addressed."

What is our primary use case?

We use the solution for collaborative jobs, email, meetings, Google Drive and for storing information.

What needs improvement?

While, overall, I am satisfied with the solution, the stability could be improved, such as the issue of Google meetings being disparate from those on Zoom platforms.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using G Suite Enterprise for two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The stability should be addressed.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Since I am using the cloud, I am not in a position to comment on the solution's scalability.

How are customer service and support?

The solution's technical support is very good.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of G Suite Enterprise is easy.

While I cannot recall exactly how long the full deployment took us, I believe we are talking about two or three months. During this period we needed to migrate from Microsoft to Google, after which we had some work to tend to.

What other advice do I have?

There are around 4,000 people using the solution in our organization.

My advice to others is to not give up, since the starter form changed and they'll be off work.

I rate G Suite Enterprise as a nine out of ten.

An enterprise workspace solution with adequate storage and easy email account creation
Pros and Cons
  • "I think it is a great subscription for me. I think it is important, especially when making an internal email subscription. For example, I can easily create my colleague's email address, and we can use it. I benefited from G Suite. I am using the G Suite Drive, which provides 30GB of storage, and it is helping for me. I think it's better for me."
  • "I talked with G Suite recently because my G Suite has a temporary block. I communicated with the G Suite representative or Google representative, and he told me that I sent a lot of emails, so my email was temporarily blocked. But I know I have not sent more than 500 emails daily to reach the limit. I sent only 5,200 emails, but unfortunately, my G Suite account was temporarily blocked for 24 hours, and then he resolved it. I think they need to improve G Suite because this temporary block is not fair."

What is our primary use case?

I use G Suite Enterprise for email.

What is most valuable?

I think it is a great subscription for me. I think it is important, especially when making an internal email subscription. For example, I can easily create my colleague's email address, and we can use it. I benefited from G Suite. I am using the G Suite Drive, which provides 30GB of storage, and it is helping for me. I think it's better for me.

What needs improvement?

I talked with G Suite recently because my G Suite has a temporary block. I think they need to improve G Suite because this temporary block is not fair.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using G Suite Enterprise for just one month.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

G Suite Enterprise is stable.

How are customer service and technical support?

I am definitely satisfied with its technical support.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Initially, I used Microsoft Outlook for almost six months. I used those subscriptions, but I cannot buy the Microsoft mailbox service. I tried to communicate with a Microsoft representative, and she tried many times over two hours, but she cannot install or buy my subscription. After that, she provided me with our local representative number. Unfortunately, I cannot reach those people. That's when I escaped Microsoft Outlook and moved to Google G Suite. I think G Suite features are better for me.

What other advice do I have?

On a scale from one to ten, I would give G Suite Enterprise an eight.

Email communication that is easy to use and is always ahead of this competition
Pros and Cons
  • "The most valuable feature is that it is simple to use."
  • "The price could be reduced."

What is our primary use case?

The primary use case is for communications, through email.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature is that it is simple to use.

Everybody tries to emulate Google. I would say that they are leaders in the area of email.

It's a rolling release, it's always changing.

What needs improvement?

The price could be reduced.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using G Suite Enterprise for approximately two years.

What other advice do I have?

They are always ahead of the competition, there is not much to improve as long as they keep maintaining the same momentum.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

Centralized, versatile solution with excellent integrations and security
Pros and Cons
  • "We value the collaboration levels that are offered. Having everything integrated in a single platform is a dream come true for us."
  • "I believe that Sheets could have a more functional and user-friendly interface. Google Sheets currently lacks macros and cross file links which can be found in Excel."

What is our primary use case?

I use this solution in a variety of different cases i.e. emailing, audio and video conferencing, sharing files, etc.

How has it helped my organization?

The solution offers great integration and security, better than Microsoft in my opinion.

What is most valuable?

We value the collaboration levels that are offered. Having everything integrated in a single platform is a dream come true for us.

What needs improvement?

I believe that Sheets could have a more functional and user-friendly interface. Google Sheets currently lacks macros and cross-file links that can be found in Excel.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using this solution for almost five years now.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

This is a stable solution.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

This is a scalable solution, we have some customers who install G Suite for thousands of users and have no had any issues.

How are customer service and support?

We have only needed to contact support twice over the last five years and have no complaints with them.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We were originally using Microsoft but we switched for security reasons. We faced many spam attacks on the Microsoft platform and Google offered spam filters which were attractive to us so we decided to migrate everything there.

Overall, Google beats Microsoft on the price, performance, and security features.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was straightforward and took just a couple of days to deploy within the whole company.

What about the implementation team?

We implemented the solution ourselves.

What was our ROI?

We have seen high ROI.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The overall cost is very reasonable when considering all of the security features that you are receiving. It is a bit more expensive than our localhost and/or other hosting companies that are available on the market, but it is worth it.

What other advice do I have?

I would highly recommend this solution, it is a no-brainer that this is one of the best cloud platforms available. The only reason you should not go with G Suite is if you have some strict regulations to keep everything on your local devices or within your local network.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

Provides great opportunities for collaboration and streamlining our business
Pros and Cons
  • "Extremely reliable, providing great collaboration features."
  • "There is some redundancy in the functionality between certain modules."

What is our primary use case?

This solution is our primary tool for communication and collaboration within the company. We use it for everything possible. We are partners with Google and I'm a cloud expert and company partner.

How has it helped my organization?

This product has improved our organization in many ways, whether it's in terms of quick access to information from any place and the fact that it's more than just email. In the work environment I can quickly collaborate with others on urgent matters. Problems are addressed more quickly and content is created and approved in less time, providing quick and easy access to information.

What is most valuable?

It's difficult to name a single valuable feature, but I like that it simply works and is reliable. I like the philosophy of the product.

What needs improvement?

G Suite has improved but there's still some redundancy in the functionality between certain modules. The general Q and A's are different from the Q and A's in Google presentations and Google slides. I think the three could be unified into a single function rather than three different functions. For additional features, I'd like to see some project management area tools, workflow tools around document management, that kind of thing.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using this solution for over 10 years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is absolutely reliable and stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability is excellent - the product is a public cloud product so by definition it's scalable. We're not a big company, we have close to 20 users and they are in all roles, whether it's sales, marketing, professional services or administration.

How are customer service and technical support?

As partners, I think the technical support offered is good. From Google's perspective, I think it could be improved. There is quality lacking in their support. The solution works very well and there are rarely any technical issues and that could be the reason that their first line of support is not great. I think it's similar with other vendors so it seems to be the industry average.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is very straightforward.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

There are different licensing packages available so you can choose what suits you. The price is relatively low, it's reasonable.

What other advice do I have?

Compared to anything else, this solution is absolutely the best.

I rate this solution a 10 out of 10.

Provides for real-time and secure collaboration with coworkers
Pros and Cons
  • "G Suite is a powerful suite of tools for messaging and collaboration that has met the fundamental needs of my company, both increasing productivity and reducing costs."
  • "Despite being an excellent platform, I would very much like Google Docs to be more compatible with Microsoft Word."

What is our primary use case?

The main reason I use this platform is to share ideas with my coworkers in a safe way and in real time. G Suite is a platform that unifies what the office requires. Email, calculator, and calendar, among others. It is also easy to implement and its performance is excellent.

How has it helped my organization?

Our experience with this product has been excellent. G Suite is a powerful suite of tools for messaging and collaboration that has met the fundamental needs of my company, both increasing productivity and reducing costs.

What is most valuable?

All the G Suite tools are in the highly secure and highly available Google infrastructure, and no hardware or software is required. The platform requires only minimal administration. In addition, G Suite applications are simple, and you can download browser add-ons for most tasks that are not compatible internally with Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides.

What needs improvement?

Despite being an excellent platform, I would very much like Google Docs to be more compatible with Microsoft Word.

For how long have I used the solution?

Three years approximately.

How are customer service and technical support?

Technical support for this solution is excellent.

What other advice do I have?

I am completely satisfied with G Suite. It has a powerful set of messaging and collaboration tools comprising a range of applications. The components that I use most are its Slides presentation application, the Sheets spreadsheet editor, the Docs word processor, and the file storage platform, Drive.

A very open and easy to use solution; good stability
Pros and Cons
  • "It's more open than Microsoft and easy to use."
  • "Scalability is not as good as we would like."

What is our primary use case?

I'm the company technical director and we are customers of G Suite.

What is most valuable?

I like G Suite, it's more open than Microsoft and easy to use.

What needs improvement?

The solution doesn't work so well if we put a lot of data on it. I would also like to see G Suite catch up with the Microsoft Excel functionality, it would be useful for us.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability could be improved, we sometimes have issues when there is a lot of data. We have around 50 G Suite users in the company.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is easy and straightforward.

What other advice do I have?

I recommend this solution and rate it eight out of 10.

Google Apps for Business: Useful for When Your business is Already Running

What is our primary use case?

The use case is a small business in the process of developing a content strategy for a website. A common user that is me already has a Google account, searched online for Google Apps for Business, and then decided to take advantage of the variety of resources available for the G Suite.

How has it helped my organization?

I have no nonprofit organization, so it has not improved anything. However, the extra space in Drive is a potential improvement in user experience because most of the people in our organization are using either a Dropbox or Drive space.

What is most valuable?

Since my goal was to extend my analysis, I found the additional Drive and Gmail storage to be very valuable. Next is the interroperability with Microsoft Outlook, which is a feature also used with Hotmail. I figured the 24/7 phone and email support was a must, too for a new business/startup.

What needs improvement?

The Outlook integration or plug-in for current outlook clients is a huge area for improvement. Calendar, contact, all that can be synched needs to be managed too.

For how long have I used the solution?

Less than one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

No, not really. But it was rather extra work to configure the IMAP or POP on a smartphone.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

No.

How are customer service and technical support?

Customer Service: I would say that the customer service responded. There was a really fast email response and there were links to educational materials in relation to deployment. Technical Support: Prompt and fixed.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

No, I did not use a different solution.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is complex. It involved browsing, knowledge of IMAP and POP, and the two-step verification was in place, and then I had to consult with the smartphone provider before I access the Google Apps for Business.

What about the implementation team?

I did not implement through a vendor team.

What was our ROI?

I wanted to see if it would help make better use of my Google+ pages for business. I wanted everything to appear seamlessly, and effortlessly painless.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The average day-to-day cost is a little bit extra storage capacity for the browsing on my smartphone, which I normally don't use for the specific tasks.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I looked at cloud.google.com, and then I also took another look at blog hosting that provides email and website hosting.

What other advice do I have?

I think the on-boarding could be made more efficient, but that doesn't mean more time.
