Synapse Analytics is stable because the scope is so broad. Anything you do in it is like 1 percent of the total solution.

So far, it has been pretty good. In five years, it has had two failures, which is pretty acceptable from my standpoint. Those were more environmental failures.

I rate Synapse nine out of 10 for stability. We've had some issues in the past that needed to be addressed, but those were related to how we did our transformations. We needed to learn from our mistakes and figure out how to properly schedule jobs, imports, etc.

It's quite stable. So far, we haven't experienced any failures. If any failures occur, it will be due to the type of data or changes in it. But apart from that, the pipeline runs fine. We are getting our data reports that the team runs from Power BI. So everything seems to be stable so far.

When it comes to stability, Synapse Analytics has suited us well, because it's very fast, i.e. it has good performance. Compared with the on-premises SQL solutions we've used, the results are two times as fast.

There are some bugs that we've encountered with the platform but we are able to work with Microsoft directly to resolve them as they come up.

The solution is incredibly stable.

The only thing that has not been stable are the pipelines that we are using runtime integration on our on-premise server and something is slowing everything down, it might be a particular ODBC connection. I am not sure if that is due to the Microsoft platform or it might be some other setup or settings that are causing the issue. However, other than this issue, the solution has been brilliant. It has been very reliable and stable.
