Sophos EPP Suite Pricing

The solution for an enterprise license costs around 13 million Philippine pesos. Based on the features that are included I rate the cost of the solution a seven out of ten.

A yearly subscription has to be purchased or made towards the licensing cost of the solution. The solution is an affordable or an economical one for corporate houses. I don't know if there is any additional cost support from the standard licensing fees of the solution.

The license cost for Sophos EPP Suite depends on the features you want to use. For example, if you want to use advanced features, such as web application firewalling, the cost may be higher. In general, I believe the licensing cost is reasonable.

The pricing is reasonable, though there has been an increase of about 7-10% in recent months. Most of the customers buy it for three years. We have a few customers using it on a yearly basis. They pay an extra amount, and anyone who buys it for three years will benefit from the price.

If a customer increases their office users, we have to support that. I provided a license for 100 users to a customer, and after a few months, they increased their computer users. So, you have to provide two or three new licenses. You have to add this to the existing license.

Price-wise, it is cheap. We need to pay 1,500 to 2,000 INR per user. The licensing of the solution is on a yearly basis. Customers have to initially pay for the cloud portal and then for the subscription licenses.

On a scale of one to ten, where one is very cheap, and ten is very expensive, I rate the pricing a three out of ten.

We are currently checking into the actual licensing costs. We are waiting for a quotation for 250 end-users and 55 service licenses. We are hoping for a reduced contract price by directly contacting the Sophos company for the licenses. Because we are in the UAE, they have a lot of connecting partners for Sophos already, so it is hard to say if they need more partners or that they will want to give a significant discount. We still think we hold significant interest for them.

I find the pricing of the product to vary in different ranges. While it is not overly expensive, it can be a significant cost from the client's perspective, which makes me cautious about spending the money. I would rate it as a seven out of ten in terms of affordability.

In terms of pricing, it's not because I don't care about the cost; I simply tell them what we require, and someone else will obtain the necessary license.

I'm not sure of what our licensing costs are. There are two and three-year packages available. I know we took a three-year package with a large discount applied to it. I'm not sure if there are different tiers, like silver or platinum. There might be. I don't know what the differences would be between them if there are.

If you compare this to other solutions from a pricing perspective, the enterprise version of Sophos turns out to be cost-effective. For example, if you currently have endpoint protection from Felix, Sophos would be comparatively cost-effective. In terms of the difference, I would say around 15% to 20%. I would rate the pricing as a four out of five.

Every organization, including Sophos or Microsoft, has its own pricing scheme. For Sophos, they have discounts for partners. That said, when looking at other markets, there are places they could reduce costs a bit. Mostly, the price is affordable, yet having more discounts will definitely bring more customers.

Customers must pay a yearly licensing fee. You can go monthly, however, it's cheaper to choose a yearly payment option. All of our customers go for annual licensing, not monthly.

It was nice of the vendor to offer a discount because we were replacing another antivirus solution. This helped us make the decision to change.

There are also additional charges if you want to have the EEPROM Protection (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) and Endpoint Protection with antivirus. These additions can cost a lot more.
