Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution is stable. Even the older versions are stable.""Bonita is simple and lightweight and is flexible to integrate with third-party systems. The UI is now flexible, whereas it was previously rigid. Any technology can be used as a frontend, including ReactJS, Angular, and others.""This product is very easy-to-use and user-friendly.""Development of forms and flows.""I find process management and user interface designing the most valuable features.""It is a great product that is powerful in developing applications.""The user interface is better than all of the open-source BPMs that I have tried.""Flexible and drag-and-drop type of UI is very valuable. The integrations are also very good. You can build workflows very quickly, which is my favorite activity. By using the GUI, you can build the entire mechanism, notifications, and all this kind of stuff."

"The most valuable feature for me is the collaboration point of view, where everybody has a single view, or source of truth, and everybody sees the same thing. Everyone can comment, contribute, and discuss the processes itself, which makes it easier to funnel down the most value adding comments and make the relevant changes to the processes. This leads to the next best iteration or version of your process.""It is highly user-friendly and easy to use, even for those who are not familiar with product modeling.""I would say the collaboration features are very useful to us, because we are a European organization, so we are not in one location. This is an easy way to share with other people and ask them for feedback. That is the use case for us.""The benefit of this application is that I can immediately describe processes and form normative documents for these processes. For me, this is definitely a plus. Сurrently, I work in a company that is not involved in the structural alignment of business processes. They have huge gaps in this. Nothing is described and there are no norms. Therefore, the formation of regulatory documents, rules, and descriptions of processes, not only in graphic form, but also in documentary form is an absolute plus. I have not found this in other process programs.""I use SAP Signavio Process Manager to model processes to the former operating model.""The drag-and-drop functionality in Signavio is impressive and user-friendly, allowing easy connection to other elements without the need for excessive back-and-forth.""It's way of handling is really an advantage. It's quite easy to use, without too much training . That's the main point for me.""The visual representation is extremely powerful and easy to use in process modeling and analysis. I can show it to someone who doesn't know business process mapping, and they still understand because it's visually presented. It becomes easy to explain variants and what needs to change."

Cons
"Installation could be made easier.""I should be able to park the tasks that are within a process in a kind of container, and dynamically, a super admin should be able to connect these processes. This kind of feature might be helpful.""Bonita can improve by offering more flexibility. The developer does not receive the code of the application to modify it. Most of the other solutions I have used allow the developers to change or improve the code that is generated.""We are struggling a bit with integrations.""The interface is advanced and quite good, but it could improve.""I have run into a lot of problems because there is not enough documentation.""There is a considerable learning curve.""It would be nice to have a wizard to help walk through the development process and create a backbone."

More Bonita Cons →

"There are some small graphical bugs, but they are addressed immediately by Signavio to their product development team.""If you start from scratch then I think this product would be ideal, but if you already have something then it may or may not suit you.""The solution is complex.""There could be something more on the reporting side of it for the processes you have captured or processes that might be work in progress to see where to target your effort because you don't always have lots of resources to spare""For us, it would help a lot if this solution had floating licenses.""I would like to see the inclusion of some document management functionality so that we don't need to integrate with a second solution to accommodate this.""The user administration, the user-group administration, and the license models need improvement.""I would like to have the option to select the color of items and subgroups in the glossary because right now it is fixed."
