Find out in this report how the two User Provisioning Software solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The Governance and self-service that can be set up so you can use them yourself to work in the system are the most valuable features. End users can be enabled to help themselves."
"The best feature in Omada Identity is that it enables us to implement standardized employee life cycle processes so that we don't have to create them ourselves. We can then use the standard workflows. The breadth and scope of the solution’s IGA features also fulfill our requirements."
"We are able to onboard new user accounts much faster by automating the process and standardizing our operations globally. Previously, there were many individual processes and manual admin interactions. We also see a lot of cost savings and benefits because through automation and standardization."
"Omada offers a technical solution that addresses both our needs."
"User-friendly solution."
"The most valuable feature is the automatic provisioning and reconciliation of things like the Active Directory groups and memberships."
"Two valuable features of Omada Identity are the ability to discover accounts and link them to identities, and the automatic disabling of inactive accounts or identities."
"Its best feature is definitely the process design. It is quite easy and straightforward to design a process."
"A feature of SailPoint IdentityIQ that I like best is that it has good integration with other platforms. My company is using ADP here in Brazil, and SailPoint IdentityIQ works very, very well with it. My company is also using the solution for governance evaluation, segregation, and other access tests. For my company, SailPoint IdentityIQ is a very important solution, especially because it's automated, and there's a huge audit and risk issue here in Brazil."
"I find the built-in connectors, lifecycle management, certification, and recertification features to be the most valuable."
"SailPoint has allowed us to ensure the right people have the right access and to the rights things."
"It provides a lot of out-of-the-box functionalities. You don't have to do too much custom development like other solutions such as Microsoft or NetIQ. It also has a lot of out-of-the-box connectors for different sources, directories, databases, etc. Its cloud version is working very well, and its pricing is okay. Its value for money is fine for most of the customers. It is also very flexible. They have frequent new releases and patches for fixing errors and things like that."
"This solution has made our team more effective. We need less manual approvals when someone new joins our company. There is less paperwork and fewer support tickets raised for access."
"The most valuable features of SailPoint IdentityIQ are the reporting because it is better than other solutions. The workflows can be customized to our requirements and the overall features are good."
"It significantly reduces the workload for certification processes."
"The tool is quite stable and user-friendly."
"Self-registration and self-service password management are valuable features. The role modeling feature is also very useful. It allows you to model your enterprise role."
"There are many valuable features within the solution. The product is easy to customize. It’s also highly secure."
"The scalability potential is there if a company needs to expand."
"It has good endpoint support and endpoint connectivity to different versioning endpoints."
"The solution is easy to scale."
"The product is relatively easier to use than other identity management products."
"What I found most valuable in Symantec Identity Governance and Administration is its simple GUI. It's also easy to deploy compared to other products. With other products, you have to install the Windows version inside the Windows machine on all units, but with Symantec Identity Governance and Administration, it can work offline, so the solution is a little bit easier than other systems."
"When comparing it to other products, you can set up CA IAM in a PoC very quickly to demonstrate its provisioning capabilities."
"The user interface should have a more flexible design, where you can change it to your requirement."
"Omada's performance could be better because we had some latency issues. Still, it's difficult to say how much of that is due to Omada versus the resources used by our other vendors in our on-prem environment. Considering the resources we have invested into making it run well, it's slightly slower than we would expect."
"If I had to name one thing, it would be the user interface (UI)."
"We are trying to use Omada's standards and to adapt our processes. But we have had some trouble with the bad documentation. This is something that they could improve on. It has not been possible for us to analyze some of the problems so far, based on the documentation. We always need consultants. The documentation should include some implementation hints and some guidelines for implementing the processes."
"The Omada Identity SaaS version doesn't provide all the features Omada Identity on-premise provides."
"The security permission inside Omada needs improvement. It's tricky to set up."
"I would like to search on date fields, which is not possible now."
"They need to improve the cost for small companies."
"There is a need for further enhancements, specifically in the multifactor authentication capabilities."
"The connector for EPIC, ServiceNow, and Duo."
"If there's a price reduction for SailPoint IdentityIQ, that would be helpful. Another area for improvement in the product is the technical support, which needs to be more friendly to customers."
"The product has poor reporting and analytic capabilities. Reports are not easy to use and its analytic capabilities are limited."
"The interface should be simple and easier to use."
"Finding integration experts for SailPoint in the North American market can be challenging, and transitioning to a no-code or low-code setup could reduce dependence on specialized skills."
"The solution's technical support team's response time and skills need improvement since it is an area where there are shortcomings."
"If you compare Saviynt and Okta Workforce Identity versus SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint IdentityIQ needs to improve its UI."
"Symantec is only on-premises, not on the cloud."
"Identity Manager has a lack of entitlement support, unlike other products that I have worked with."

"We would like to see integration with analytics. Also, for them to be more efficient regarding discovering and implementing new rules."
"Reporting could be improved."
"They should easier and better integration with other software."
"In the next release, there should be provisioning of your certifications."

I checked with a colleague who has more “hands-on” experience, here is his response:
If so CA IDM please no. They have done some work but it’s still not good performance-wise. It has been updated from the original netegrity or whatever code (as of a couple of years the scripts still had that in the header comments, as in untouched in years after purchase). I am not saying SailPoint is the cat's meow, as I don’t know. But given my experiences with CA IDM, and its use internally. It’s complex, does a lot but doesn’t perform very well. At one time there was an issue with data integrity due to the replication cycle (2 repositories, user/id, and a replication repository just for that and data are flushed through both in sequence) as in the last change to data was not necessarily applied in sequence. Results were last change was not the attribute state. Surely that has been fixed by now but with CA you never know. And that’s another issue. My experiences with CA support pretty much got the right support engineer, you get real answers. The wrong one, not so much. If I was starting from scratch I might well consider OpenAM. The commercial product I am pretty sure but a great IAM swiss army knife. It’s descended from Sun One which oracle tossed out when they bought sun over their own IAM product.
When you say "differences" are you looking at a feature-by-feature comparison or at an overall level - the various "-abilities" like implement-ability, integrate-ability, support-ability, afford-ability and so on?
