We performed a comparison between Kryon RPA and Microsoft Power Automate based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."Once I decide a process is suitable as a Kryon solution, the cycle of automation is quite quick. I learn about the manual process and I'm one of the two guys who program the Kryon environment. It's relatively simple. There are many details, but once you understand the concept it is quite easy."
"The advanced Excel functionalities are really convenient because we work a lot with spreadsheets. It’s also easy to use the HTML selectors. It’s just a click and it picks it up. There’s not a lot of no hard-coding with it."
"I like Kryon RPA's ability to use automated and manual processes with any bot."
"We are able to cope with our clients's demands. No matter how much volume they throw at us, we are able to get it done quickly."
"[One of the valuable features] is the triggers. It's relatively simple to activate it. You can activate it via Control-M or via email. It has a lot of built-in triggers which enable us to easily activate the jobs."
"We have been using Kryon Process Discovery for about a year now. With our initial tests and monitoring just a couple people, we were able to identify 79 possible use cases within a one-month period."
"What I like most about Kryon RPA is the user experience. I also find the layout and design of the solution better for programming compared to other RPA solutions."
"The recording feature enables us to record what we're doing, like typing or clicking the mouse, and to identify objects on the screen. We basically teach the program how to type, instead of a person. That's the most powerful feature."
"The technical support is good."
"Workflow management is what clients select the most. It is very intuitive and pretty much drag-and-drop, so we can create escalation, decision flows, and if-else conditions pretty much by dragging and dropping boxes. Even someone who is not technical can develop a workflow for the business."
"The most valuable feature is that it easily integrates with other Microsoft products, so it has multiple connectors. You can create solutions that connect to Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive."
"The product is very stable."
"Power Automate is intuitive and easy to use."
"The solution is pretty customizable. Even big automation tasks are done rather simply."
"It is a low-code platform. It is easy to use and good for automating small tasks such as expense approvals, timesheet approvals, etc."
"Power Automate is not complex and is very easy-to-use in deploying most development projects."
"It would be better to have [upgrades] done automatically, like an application on your smartphone. Or even if done manually, the upgrade should just be "next, next, next," and it's upgraded, rather than making it a project to upgrade."
"The product requires some more time in development. It still has some bugs and some things to work out. They're constantly releasing. They need to continue working out the general issues of using the product at scale, first and foremost."
"Kryon RPA's integration with other solutions could be more seamless."
"With the customer support, there have been some times where we have had to go through explaining the issue a couple times because it has gone through a couple of people's hands. There have been a couple of scenarios where we have had to re-explain the issue and bring somebody new up to speed on what is going on or what the problem is."
"There are limitations on integrations with other platforms like ServiceNow. There are some issues integrating. It's not a really an open system. The product, its design, etc., is really good, but they have to look at the openness, how to integrate with other products which are available in the market, as well as with our own solutions. You can do integration but it is not so easy."
"We use Google Drive a lot. If somebody sends us a spreadsheet or a document, it's going to be in Google’s format. It's not going to be in Microsoft Office format. But currently, there's no integration with Google’s documents. That would be a huge plus to have."
"At first, we had problems with the object detection but in this latest release it has been better, and I think it keeps getting better."
"From our experience, the product is not suitable for end users."
"The solution could have more integration with different platforms."
"I rate the technical support from Microsoft Power Automate a four out of five."
"The OCR part or scanning of documents is missing."
"The initial setup is complex and has room for improvement."
"There is an RPA feature gap between this solution and other more mature products."
"What needs improvement in WinAutomation by Softomotive is its stability. Stability is quite important to me. Another area for improvement in the solution is robot scheduling because it's not 100% accurate, in particular, it's 90% accurate. The monitoring of the robot could also be improved because it's not very straightforward, and you have to look in a few places or at least two places which means that monitoring is not a one-glance process."
"I've had issues with reordering columns. When I tried to do it, it seemed to take a long time, and then, later, it gave me some kind of error."
"It should work better for Angular websites, as it has a lot of problems."
