Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Both stability and performance are valuable features. The user experience is pretty good on all this.""The solution is stable and easy to use.""Microsoft 365 Business is stable and scalable, and the installation is straightforward as well.""The interaction between different products is most valuable. I use Excel, Mail, Teams, and PowerPoint, not really much else.""The most valuable feature for us is Microsoft Teams.""The initial setup is extremely straightforward.""We are satisfied with the technical support, there are no issues.""I like the ease of use."

"The most valuable feature of the solution is the amount of space allotted to each user that is issued a subscription.""Ability to share documents.""We use Microsoft OneDrive for file sharing without the need for additional hardware (such as flash drives or external hard drives).""It's quite easy to use and then of course it is quite well integrated to the rest of Office 365.""It was extremely easy to setup.""One of the good features is that the users are not even aware that they're using it.""It is free if you use Microsoft Office 365.""It's pretty easy to learn. Once someone taught me, I was able to navigate it quite easily."

Cons
"Its pricing plan should be better.""The security features and the engine they are using are not good enough. They are not able to protect you from phishing attacks, which is the biggest drawback of this solution. We have been getting phishing emails, and I have been chasing Microsoft every single day. In terms of configuration, all the controls that they have recommended are in place, but we are still getting a lot of phishing emails. I would like to see a feature that allows us to share a folder from an online archive, which is a sort of mailbox attached to the primary mailbox. Currently, you can share folders, contacts, and calendars only in the primary mailbox. You can't share any folder or other things from the online archive. The limit of the primary mailbox is 50 GB, whereas the online archive is unlimited, so it would be useful if we can share a folder from the online archive.""The user interface needs some improvement.""n the future, a dashboard should be included.""The cost is a bit high.""Occasionally, it does go down, however, for the most part, it's fine.""Data protection needs to be improved.""It would be ideal if the product offered more integration capabilities with non-Microsoft solutions."

More Microsoft 365 Business Cons →

"The scalability has room for improvement.""No one gets an alert when files are deleted.""Technical support is not very impressive and is typical of large company software support.""It is not very stable because there are a lot of bugs.""The website could be improved. Sometimes I try to login and the website has issues, I can't retrieve my documents.""I think it should be more user-friendly with more tutorials on the full scale of the program.""The technical support is really very bad.""The security is not as flexible as it is with Dropbox, which means that we can't share our OneDrive files."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "Depending on which plan you purchase, there are a plethora of applications available to you."
  • "Compared to buying a license, it is much cheaper and a good buy."
  • "We do monthly billing, however, I'm not sure what the exact costs are. We may pay around $1,000/month. We started using the Microsoft Teams and we've started doing the conference call feature, so that's another $4 an account and we have a few accounts using that right now."
  • "USD $1,250 annually for the standard package."
  • "Pricing can vary a lot due to fluctuations in exchange rates and that is not favorable for planning."
  • "Now you can select different licenses, for example, if somebody doesn't need all of the features, it would cost $8 USD per month and if they didn't need the email application then it would cost $6 USD per month."
  • "It works out to be $12.50 per user per month."
  • "Microsoft 365 Business will be good to have if you have a large organization where you have more than 3000 employees. Other cheaper solutions, like Gmail, are easily available in the market."

  • "Using this software, it has had an amazing impact moneywise on our business. It allows us to share documents without the need of extra hardware."
  • "We pay a lot for the Enterprise version, but it is a premium service."
  • "OneDrive comes with Microsoft 365 so it is just an added part of that package."
  • "It is free if you are using Office 365, and you get a terabyte of storage with your account."
