We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"NetSuite ERP is good for a trading company that involves buying and selling.""It's integrated into everything well so you can navigate and use it in a very simple way.""I would say that the solution is highly configurable.""The user interface is very good.""The project management aspect and the timesheets are valuable, especially for ensuring that our milestone billings are automated properly. From a manufacturing perspective, it is more to do with the entire management of the inventory, the overall finance, consolidation of books of accounts, and managing the profit and loss in a more effective manner.""The most valuable feature in NetSuite ERP is the user interface.""I have found there to be many features, such as manufacturing, accounting, financials, inventory, and purchasing.""The most valuable feature is that it works according to how the Internet works."

"The time system is what we get the most benefit from.""The solution is easy to scale, expand and make bigger.""A solid and mature product.""The recruiting is most valuable. It saves time in having easy and fast applicants tracking as well as candidates' contact plus pipeline management.""It's a mature product.""I often say that PeopleSoft's greatest feature is how customizable it is.""PeopleSoft is a good core system. It has a lot of functionality. They frequently update the solution and recently they have added some good enhancements features for higher education. We just switched to the new fluid interface and that is working very well for us is very good.""It is a customizable product. We can customize it based on our needs, which is one of the features that I like about PeopleSoft. As far as financial accounting is concerned, the user interface is very good. You can also configure Chart of Accounts for all performance insights."

Cons
"In terms of the main improvement to NetSuite is the talent itself. It's grown so fast and there are about 25,000 companies running on it, and it's a relatively newer system compared to other competitors. It's growing so fast that the talent base in the partner organization (there's about 200 of them), is pretty thin.""What needs to be improved is the development in the other areas and other businesses that can use NetSuite.""There is a lot of room for improvement. Multiple manufacturing features need to be updated on NetSuite. More functionalities need to be added. I think there are a lot of functionalities coming out for warehouse management systems and manufacturing automation via advanced manufacturing functionalities. I think they need to improve a little more on those aspects and make it easier on the scheduling aspect.""The solution is not user-friendly and it is complex to use.""It would be great if they offered localization for Central America.""Some of the features around the payroll and payroll taxes and management of that are lacking. We had to outsource some of that because we found that the functionality isn't there.""The solution could be more stable.""If you do go through an implementor, you need to be careful that they are actual implementors and not just resellers."

"Response time takes very long and requires a person to be awake night and day to benefit from it.""I think the inventory part it should be simplified. There is the GR, or good receipt note, which is the time that the materials comes in, and the work days, etc. There is a lot of shuffling through pages, which creates a lot of problems for our users. They don't know which page to go to, where to create a GR, or where to create a stock entry. In other words, all the information is very daunting. It's very easy for people to understand and get a better clarity over it.""Parsing of CVs is productive but accuracy can be improved.""Tools and UI could be enhanced.""The area that could be improved is the upgrade process, it's not the easiest. Oracle stopped supporting our version. So we have to move either to the cloud or work in a non-supported situation. That was certainly a disadvantage. That's also the reason why we decided not to stay with Oracle. Now we are moving to SAP.""The API integration could be better.""The biggest disadvantage with things like PeopleSoft is that they do continuous support and fixes and upgrades. You get to choose when you want to implement that upgrade. However, in order to keep up, you have to upgrade.""PeopleSoft should be more flexible with the configuration. There should be less coding and more configuration."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"The price of the solution is quite high.""It is completely on a subscription basis. We pay yearly and, and you do not have to do anything on a monthly basis. Prices depend on the organization's scale and all those things, but they are doing a good job with the pricing.""When people buy ERP, it's a competitive situation and the pricing is paramount.""There is an annual license required to use this solution."

"The main issue we have with the solution is that it is very expensive.""We are a University and the cost and license are negotiated privately.""There are no additional costs for licensing."
