We performed a comparison between Oracle Fusion Service and Pega Robotic Process Automation based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about monday.com, Microsoft, Salesforce and others in CRM."Previously, my clients used a smaller ERP system, not a major one. However, they have now transitioned to Oracle, which provides them with a more extensive range of options. Unlike before, it's now an integrated system that covers various aspects, including finance, supply chain management, and other functionalities."
"The solution is completely cloud-based and very easy to access from anywhere."
"Oracle Cloud Services integrates well. It has lots of APIs to integrate with other solutions, like the PBX we use from Cisco. The ability to integrate Siebel data with Cisco PBX was nice."
"Stable and scalable with good technical support."
"The solution is easy to learn."
"Oracle Service Cloud could improve the integration for older platforms."
"Oracle offers a wide range of applications, each capable of delivering significant value to our business."
"It offers a seamless experience with quick deployment—eliminating prolonged implementation and installation processes."
"It helped cut short the release cycle by almost 40% compared to the previous solution."
"It was very smooth and very seamless to create automations."
"We have a very large operational team and we are able to avoid mistakes and ensure accuracy and speed using Pega."
"The low-code/no-code development aspect of the solution is great."
"The most valuable feature of Pega Robotic Process Automation is the technique: you can create a user interface that can interact with a human being for attended robots."
"The feature I like best in Pega Robotic Process Automation is that I'm able to add external DLL section codes. I can inject the JavaScript, and I can write VB.NET, C#.NET, and DLL codes, then inject those codes into the existing process. Mainly, from a development perspective, I like that feature a lot, so if anything is not supported by Pega Robotic Process Automation, then I can build that either in JavaScript or in .NET, then use those functions within the IP."
"Its stability has been good."
"It is really flexible in what it can do."
"The vendor must provide a user-friendly mobile application."
"One suggestion I have is to shorten the IT team's response time. When we submit an ASR or similar request, it takes a while to receive a response, and this can be seen as a drawback."
"Oracle Service Cloud could improve the integration for older platforms."
"Lacks the ability to deploy custom code for customization."
"Oracle changed the means by which users are created in the system. I would like this to be easier to implement."
"The dependency on the dollar makes these products more costly during disruptions in currency parity, especially in countries like Pakistan."
"Oracle counts users for licensing purposes, regardless of their roles or usage patterns. This process could be better."
"Oracle Fusion Service needs to improve its documentation part because we do not have proper documentation."
"The orchestration needs to be better."
"The ease-of-use could be improved."
"The way integration classes are created could be improved."
"I have faced many scenarios in the business workflow, where a few applications run on the Citrix environment. That could be a critical part of the process without which business won't be able to accept the automation solution. Because of one small bottleneck, you will lose a very good candidate for process automation."
"It is still a niche skill and resources are scarce in the market unless big IT companies are involved."
"What I don't like that much in Pega Robotic Process Automation is its monitoring tool because that tool is tightly connected with the platform. If the Pega team can deploy the monitoring tool separately, so that it's a separate solution altogether, then that would be good because currently, if you have to use the monitoring tool, then that means you have to use the Pega Robotic Process Automation platform. The initial setup for Pega Robotic Process Automation also needs improvement because it is complex. The only additional feature I'd like to see in the solution is for the monitoring tool to be a stand-alone rather than being tightly coupled with the Pega platform. Looking at the current features of Pega Robotic Process Automation concerning application automation, it covers most of my needs currently."
"The new players such as UiPath and ABBYY are moving very quickly, but Pega is not. I'd definitely like to see Pega doing a few more interesting things on the AI or machine learning front so that we can use the platform for multiple things."
"Pega Robotic Process Automation can improve the OGR area. You don't have a feature to read documents in computer voices."
