What is our primary use case?

We primarily use Moogsoft for our customers, who are telecom operators in a different country. We use it for monitoring the alarm extension of different components.

I have 17 years of experience in the telecom industry. I have had many roles including operations, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature is the monitoring manager. Different components and different monitoring tools integrate with and send data to Moogsoft.

This is a user-friendly solution. It is very easy and very comfortable to use, with everything available on a single screen.

The AI component allows you to check previous cases and diagnose problems easily. It will show you what happened last time the same event occurred.

What needs improvement?

I would like to see additional reports or information on the dashboard that includes metrics about CPU usage and memory.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Moogsoft AIOps for the past two months, and the company has been using it for less than a year. We have used it for two or three projects.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

So far, we have not found any issues in using the product, and it is very good.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have not tried to scale or expand usage. Our operations team has about 200 people and they are monitoring staff.

How are customer service and support?

Until now, we have not required technical support.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was okay. There was a procedure to follow and we had no issue with it.

What about the implementation team?

We have an in-house team for deployment. I am in the operations team, so once it has been deployed, they hand it over to us.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I have researched some of the Moogsoft competitors to gain a better understanding of similar solutions, and to see what other tools are available in the market.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

What is our primary use case?

Our clients required much-needed improvement in the detection and remediation of incidents, ensuring continuous service delivery, so they opted for Moogsoft AIOps.

How has it helped my organization?

One of the tangible benefits of Moogsoft AIOps is that it has reduced alert volume by 90 percent. It separates the "signal" from the "noise" through mathematical analysis of all events across the entire monitoring stack. The result is that it frees up support a lot, saving resources, time, and money.

What is most valuable?

Moogsoft AIOps integrates seamlessly with 50-plus IT monitoring, automation, service management, notification, and collaboration tools. It also provides a great and easy-to-use interface for observing.

In terms of other products it works with in our environment, it integrates well with ServiceNow.

What needs improvement?

Some additional API interfacing would be great to enable getting the data out of AIOps programmatically.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It's quite mature and stable and has easily borne the brunt of high-load intervals. We haven't faced any issues here.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

As it's in the cloud and hosted, scalability is not an issue at all. It grows and shrinks with our fluid environment.

How is customer service and technical support?

Customer service and support need improvement in terms of response time.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It's a very cost-effective and competitive product.

Our experience purchasing this solution through the AWS Marketplace was that it was very easy and seamless. We chose to procure this solution there because that's where it was available.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate this solution an eight out of ten, due to its integration features.

I would like to see more integrations. It is rather difficult to install the enterprise systems with the agents.

We don't use the solution ourselves, but we have clients that have been using it for the past two years at least. We help with the implementation, installation, configured and so on.

The solution is very stable.

We've had no issues with the scalability.

How are customer service and technical support?

The major advantage is that you've got solid context during collaboration and knowledge capture. The tool itself has very smart workflows for faster runtimes. It allows you to collaborate freely across a team, with development, IT and DevOps. The technical support is good.

How was the initial setup?

We set it up in an organization that has over 50,000 servers, so it was definitely a complex setup. It was, however, because of the number of nodes that we weren't monitoring. So the setup is not complicated in itself, but if you are going to monitor enterprise IP systems you end up monitoring tens of thousands of data points and that makes it complex. 

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend this program to others. I would certainly tell them to give it a shot. In the next version I would like to see better agents and better integration points. My rating for this solution will be eight out of ten. It is a very agile tool that allows you to collaborate across teams. That's something that I always recommend.
