The solution is a security system we install in our customer's office. It's a firewall. We have a control panel to manage and view some data and this control panel is in the cloud. However, the firewalls themselves are in the customer's office.

Our company uses the solution as a firewall that provides different levels of protection for our office and factory. We currently have 500 users. 

My company uses SonicWall NSa as the primary firewall and the SonicWall TZ series as a backup firewall. I have no idea why the company needs to support two firewalls. Still, sometimes, SonicWall NSa has an issue, so the company removes the memory card from it, then replaces it with the memory card from the backup firewall.

Our use cases for SonicWall NSa are the Global VPN and the SSL VPN, because nowadays, everyone prefers to work from home, and prefers to connect from mobile applications to our organization.

We use the solution on campus for students. We are not a non-profit organization working with financial constraints. We are an academic institute, so not very much security is required. We are required to provide real-time security.

I'm using SonicWall NSa as an external firewall.

I use SonicWall NSa for bandwidth monitoring and aggregation. I also use it to control browsing.

We use SonicWall NSa as a firewall to protect our branches. We use the solution for intrusion prevention systems (IPS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and networking. We have VPN connections with our data center and other branches.

The solution is deployed on-premises. We're using the latest version. 

There are around 3,000 users of this solution in my company.

Our primary use case for SonicWall NSa is a firewall and for analytics. I use SonicWall NSa to follow the users. Some users manage to bypass the firewall sometimes and install certain software. I track all of this "bad" behavior and block it.

The solution is primarily used as a perimeter firewall for a gateway toward public internet traffic. Basically, it is a gateway between our internal network and public traffic.

We use the solution to provide edge security. We provide edge policies and protection. We use a very old version.

The solution is used basically a parameter firewall and to secure the company network.

We use it to activate firewalls, VPN, and traffic analyzer.

SonicWall prevents and restricts access to websites for employees as well as anyone who comes into the office.

We have installed this firewall appliance across cloud and on-premises environments, our clients primarily use the VPN functionality.

If a customer wants to use the firewall, they have to pay more money for the cloud. By having a firewall solution, they can configure the VPN through the firewall, enabling them to avoid the high costs. Once you deploy the firewall in the cloud solution, then you will get protection for the gateway as well.

We use the product for a lot of things, so it's hard to talk about an individual use case.

We use this solution for the VPN and to give permissions for on-premises access.

The solution is deployed on-premises. There are two people using this solution in my organization.

SonicWall NSa can be used as a perimeter and ELAN firewall.

I walked into a job where we had an end of life ns2400 that was a mess. Coming from a Meraki environment there was a learning curve on how to navigate the sometimes overly complicated user interface. Tasks I should have been able to complete in 10-15 minutes took longer and I bounced between menus to hash out NAT rules and port forwarding.

We are a software development company, and we have approximately 100 to 125 users working at the same time. This firewall is part of our security solution and we are planning to upgrade it to a TZ or another NSA model.

This product is the firewall that protects us from attacks from the internet.

We have a FortiAnalyzer that resides on Azure and we're getting a FortiManager because of the new capability to roll them out based on the serial number

With FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer, you have many more capabilities than you do with SonicWall.

Our primary use case for SonicWall NSa is as a public firewall, as an interface between our private network and the public network.

We are using SonicWall NSA 2600 for firewall purposes. We have its latest version.

We use this firewall to protect our perimeter. We create NAT policies and have a DMZ set up.

It is also used to filter the internet for all of our users.

We primarily use the solution for just securing our users and creating a LAN through VPN tunnels. We use it to provide remote access to a cloud service.

Firewall/VPN appliance for SMB clients. Firewall provides advanced threat protection to internal hosts. It also provides a secure mechanism for remote access.

Primary use is Office 365, all our users have cloud-based email. The rest is business emails, business procurement, etc. And if users are on after hours and they want to see more, we allow it, but still, blocking is difficult on the SonicWall. It's not easy. We have about 300 users who go through the internet.

The solution helps with VPN. 

We are using SonicWall NSa as a network firewall and for segmentation on internal networks. We are using this firewall on the application level ID. We are using it for specific segmentation between production LANs and between technologies.

SonicWall is for general security purposes.

We primarily use the solution just for IPsec tunnels. It's two routers between locations with IPsec tunnels, nothing more. We don't use their firewall capabilities.

We are end users of this solution and I'm a senior systems administrator.

My primary use case is web filtering, VPN, and sometimes UTM. I can check a VPN for point-to-point connectivity with this solution.

Our primary use case is at the perimeter of all of our customer's sites with all of the security services turned on. That is anti-malware, anti-spyware, geo IP filtering is an important thing for us, web filtering and the Capture ATP. We are looking at preventing downloading of any virus-infected files.

We use SonicWall as the primary firewall for the internet connectivity of a multi-site educational organization. It is a private multi-site wide area network for an educational institution with around six sites. There are currently about 3000 users in this client's organization.

In the main office we have set up a SonicWall TZ device, and then from the branches, we have set up a lower branch model, the SonicWall, and then created site-to-site VPN. We then deployed the VoIP between those branches to the main office. We also deployed the firewall and the URL filtering between sites and the main office. So, we just enabled and created the different DMZ zones from the devices.

The primary use cases for this solution are protection and for a VPN.

We have two SonicWalls in the High Availability setup with failover configuration.

We use it for the firewalling, for IPS protection and for VPN clients.

At the organization I used to work for, this solution was used as the primary perimeter firewall. We had 11 sites. Each site had a firewall that sat behind a router and did all the filtering.
