We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Your team can work on it having basic training about databases and BPM modeling.""I like the integration part, and I also like how they use the database, such as the data when they implement all the data side, and how you can easily integrate it with their widgets.""The solution offers a free version of their product.""The tool helps to improve business processes and have better KPIs. Also, it is easy to use. Our developers find it easy to learn.""What I find most valuable is the flexibility, I find it very easy to use and very flexible for my purpose. I can use it without any particular problem, and it's very intuitive and easy to understand.""The product enables the users to automate the processes and provides a good user experience.""Business process modelling and simulation.""Bizagi is flexible. I can share things with other consultants because it is the most commonly used software in my community. It has been a great and good resource for us in making sure that we adhere to the process."

"The content management is great.""The solution is scalable.""Case Foundation provides a strong security boost.""A valuable feature includes seamless integration with the document management system, along with robust capabilities in analytics and reporting.""The most valuable feature is its stability, which is why we are using it.""The client and the IBM content navigation are the solution's most valuable features.""It's very easy.""It is easy to set up workflows that notify the user depending on certain events."

"The product is really good, and it is easy to use. It comes with multiple integrations. The solution keeps up with the trend of Microsoft Copilot and AI.""The most valuable features of this solution are automation, ease of billing processes with the process net, and low to no code development.""What I find most valuable in Kofax TotalAgility is its OCR feature. I also find its workflow and business process management capabilities valuable. Kofax TotalAgility also has good integration with other solutions and has an API call feature.""Essentially, Kofax TotalAgility as a whole is quite nice. As of now, we've only been able to use and explore its document classification and extraction capabilities. We haven't explored and used the case management capability yet, but the scan and capture capabilities we've been using heavily and those are quite good. Our solutions are mainly around those areas of Kofax TotalAgility. We haven't explored the product a lot, but the capabilities we've explored are good.""It's a growing tool that offers a complete package of BPM, case management, and capture capabilities.""Data extraction and auto-classification are great features.""One feature I like is that it makes the matrix easy for an unstructured document.""It is user-friendly and has good documentation. It's good for developing communication and has a lot of the APIs needed for this purpose. There aren't a lot of software options available from this time period; this is the only one from 2013 that has this concept of microservices."

Cons
"For the small business, this is very bad because it is still fragmented. The licensing policy should be more flexible and small company oriented. In micro-small companies, there should only be one or two. That's not the problem. Maybe it is too flexible, there are so many pieces that you need to put together. When you have a small business, it can be a little complicated, not so easy.""Framework approach, which extends to reusability in tools, like Pega, for deployment management could be improved.""Bizagi doesn't have integrations with other solutions, such as ERP systems. In the industry and your company, you have a lot of systems with which you need to integrate, but Bizagi doesn't have such integrations, which makes it very difficult. Its scalability can also be improved. It is good for a startup, but when you need something more complex, it is not good.""When you start working with information modeling, et cetera, here is no really good solution for the data modeling and information modeling.""They should improve the migration process between major versions, from version 9 to 10, we had to redo our implementation.""Difficult to export in formats other than PDF.""One of the features which could be improved is machine learning. Even though this product has been working on this topic, we can see that it still requires improvement.""The solution needs to make it easier to use RPA products on it. They may need an RPA specific interface. It would be better than having to make an RPA tool to use for viewing. Most of our work is about making RPA tools with the Bizagi, not using Bizagi itself."

More Bizagi Cons →

"IBM needs to update the user interfaces of all its products to make them more intuitive and accessible to beginners. Compared to Microsoft products, IBM solutions are less user-friendly. IBM programs are hard to master. It's a problem in my region because it's hard to find IT staff who can work with IBM.""We are now using microservices but there are some areas where the coordination with FileNet is problematic.""The interface needs to be more user-friendly.""90% of the feedback we receive states that the UI is not very user-friendly.""The solution can be quite expensive.""The service as it currently stands is out-of-date and lacks flexibility.""There are some features that could be enhanced like the document viewer""The place of improvement is merging or combining all of the workflow functionality into one seamless tool. Now, there are multiple installations that are different. Case Foundation, before you can put Case Manager and you've got IBM BPM, and the roadmap is there to merge them altogether. But that's the struggle at the moment, it's having multiple installations and disparate workflow applications."

More IBM Case Foundation Cons →

"Room for improvement would be better OCR functionality in terms of Arabic OCR. There should be better accuracy.""They provide sufficient but not excellent technical support. Perhaps there is a point where they could use some improvement.""The pricing for Kofax TotalAgility could be more attractive, particularly the cloud version of the solution which was offered to my company. This is its area for improvement.""There needs to be more accessible certification and better pricing.""Kofax TotalAgility could improve the OTR engine. The page OTR engine is not accurate in predicting the data properly. If you provide many features which are good for business process management without an accurate OTR engine people will not want it.""Kofax TotalAgility is quite vast and complex as a product. We came from Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation, then we started learning Kofax TotalAgility, so there are a lot of things that were quite straightforward in the Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation cross-motion modules, but to do those in Kofax TotalAgility was a bit more complex or quite long-winded and could be improved. In the next release of Kofax TotalAgility, it would be good to have a straightforward low-code or no-code process because there were instances we struggled with having to put logic into a script or a .NET script, then calling that script, instead of the process being low-code, no-code.""It’s not truly low code yet, as every two or three projects, you will have a situation where you have to go behind the essential things. You will definitely still need to customize.""Lacks sufficient inbuilt features."

  • "It is on par with other BPM tools, but not as expensive as Pega nor Appian."
  • "If they can freeze the pricing in a contract, I advise them to do so."
  • "I think that its price is reasonable."

  • "The licensing cost for Kofax TotalAgility is very expensive, though I'm unable to give you the range, the sales representatives of my company say that the product is quite expensive."
  • "It is slightly more expensive than other tools."
  • "Kofax TotalAgility is very expensive."
  • "It has a perpetual license. You pay once in a lifetime for the volume of scans you will do and the number of users you will have. You can have participants or regular users, and you can have developers and administrators. So, once you purchase it, it is for a lifetime, and then every year, you have to pay for the maintenance. There is an annual maintenance cost, which is about 18% of the licensing cost."
  • "The price of this solution is less than some of the competition."
