Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The ability to get matched to candidates is certainly valuable. In real time, you are able to adjust your description of the work and the project you need done in order to match you with the best candidates.""Stability is fantastic. In the two years we've used it, I've only experienced one outage.""It really expedites the whole process and helps the end-customer hone in on what they need. With the evolution to remote work that we are currently going through, there's much more of a need to tailor recruiting.""The most valuable feature has been the ease at which people can set up their profiles by simply uploading their CV or Linkedin profile. We previously had very low levels of adoption.""This solution has also been easy to use for people visiting our career site. Our survey report shows that 79-80% of users marked the application process to be very easy on our website.""The CRM is a useful feature to create user communities that we can actively engage in on an ongoing basis.""The most valuable aspect of this solution is the insight we receive on current employees.""This solution has allowed our team to focus on higher value activities and to make sure that they are optimizing time to identify talent and match it to opportunities. They can then focus on the layers where humans are necessary."

"Workday's best features are planning and finance.""It was more efficient for the agents for their performance reviews, but when it came to HR and the recruitment team, it sometimes worked, and sometimes, it didn't work.""Workday is a secure product.""It stores everything for the employee. It has also been able to store the information that we use for our payroll demand.""It's easy to set up.""It is quite user-friendly.""The platform itself is very robust and I generally like the reporting and analytics capability.""The software is easy to learn and use. When compared to SAP HR and SAP HCM, the tool is easy to access and understand. We have a hierarchy and structural connectivity in Workday. There is a certification for the solution and when we do it, we become the certified partners of the company"

Cons
"The tagging feature is not as in depth and easy to use as I would've hoped for. Although you can create tags for candidates, there's no way to report all those tags and see what tags are already created.""From my perspective, I think the usability could use some attention. Eightfold.ai offers modules for talent acquisition, talent management, and other areas like projects. They try to use a common UI for all of them, but it really needs to be more persona-based. That's the thing that I struggle with the most.""We're doing user testing now, and on the calibration page, there's no publish button. I have to go to overview to publish it. It could be user error, but it would be nice to be able to easily figure out where buttons are and what they do.""It would be interesting to enable Eightfold to have a user experience that is seamless in terms of single sign on to and from core systems of record. That is, the ability for a user or hiring manager/recruiter to go in and out of Eightfold back into their core system, whether that be Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, etc. It would great to be able to go back and forth with a single sign on capability so that you don't have to log in and out of applications, where it's a bidirectional single sign on.""There is room for improvement with regards to sourcing and attribution and to be more efficient with connecting leads.""Eightfold could be improved if they had more round table conversations about features and their roadmap. They should actively seek out feedback from their customers.""An opportunity for Eightfold to improve on is to open up their environment to allow us to own our application maintenance and development environment. We would like to be able to make some of the configuration changes and improvements ourselves.""We have had a couple of challenges with some of the things that we're currently trying to build out in our HCM application, and other things within the portfolio, but those aren't customer-facing issues."

More eightfold.ai Cons →

"This solution could be improved by providing user-level access to customization capabilities. Users currently rely on more technical teams to customize reports, for example.""The solution needs to be updated with generative UI.""Setting up reports can be a bit tricky.""My only suggestion might be to include a brief description of any new fields we introduce, making it easier for people to use them. Perhaps this is something they can consider implementing.""For time management, it does not have a calendar generator. For example, if you want to have a shift calendar for an entire year, you need to push the entire year's calendar into the system instead of being able to generate it using a time management pattern.""The user interface could be modernized somehow.""I would be happy if it was faster. Currently, when I try to navigate within the solution itself, it is a bit slow in terms of the page load time. When I click on something, it usually takes time to load. When you click on different icons or areas on the website, it is slow. Even when you navigate between different models, it is a bit slow. I would like to see a bit faster performance and a better user experience.""The solution has to work a lot on financial integrations, material management and CRM modules."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The pricing is fair compared to the market."
  • "This is a fairly expensive solution compared to others on the market. However, the solution offers functionality of a number of other different solutions combined. From that perspective, it is competitively priced."
  • "The pricing is fairly competitive. The licensing is fairly flexible to have all employees take advantage of it in any given capacity."
  • "I would rate the pricing a seven out of ten, with one being cheap and ten being expensive."
  • More eightfold.ai Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "With a bigger budget, I would recommend SAP."
  • "Workday is an expensive solution."
  • "You have the license fee per module, and then you have a kind of annual training fee, which is a kind of add-on. I wouldn't say it is exhaustive; it is minor. Licensing is pretty transparent for most of the part."
  • "The pricing is good from an HR perspective, although management gets upset after spending $500,000 a year, every year."
  • "Its price is pretty high. It is more expensive than what is offered by other competitors in the market."
  • "It has an annual subscription rate, but I'm not sure how it will work."
  • "The pricing for this solution is fairly high. It is not affordable for small and mid-sized companies."
  • "By and large, Workday is expensive. It is based on the headcount. I'd probably rate it a three or four out of five in terms of pricing. It'd be like buying a Mercedes or a high-end car. It's expensive, but there's a specific value that you're getting with additional features and things of that nature. Using that metaphor, Workday probably tends to be more of a luxury. There are others like ADP that can do your payroll, your time off, and other things, but they don't do it as well."
