On February 14, 2014, Atlassian president Jay Simons announced the opening of an Austin office that will eventually employ 600 people. Atlassian was founded in 2002 by Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar. In 2006, Cannon-Brookes and Farquhar were named Ernst & Young's Entrepreneurs of the Year.
KeyedIn Solutions is an international business software company based in Bloomington, Minnesota. KeyedIn Solutions was founded in 2011 by George and Lauri Klaus. In December 2011, George Klaus and a group of investors purchased a majority interest in, and management of Minneapolis-based Datacom International, a company that develops, markets, and supports web-based enterprise software for the manufacturing industry. Datacom was renamed KeyedIn Solutions.
