Pros
"Before using Telerik Test Studio, I was a manual tester, so it was my first automation tool, yet I felt very comfortable using it. I've used the record and play feature, and Telerik Test Studio was easy to use. The tool was easy to understand, even for a first-time user like me.""The performance and load testing are very good.""The way it identifies elements is good.""The most valuable aspects of the solution are the font, size, and interface.""Has a very smooth process for launching and closing the application after execution."

"Tricentis Tosca is a really cool tool that you don't have to be technical to use it. Additionally, the solution is easy to use. The modules, libraries, and reusable are in an efficient way to update all the tests. I find it spot on with that. We also started using the design which we switched from Excel. The design was superior to Excel.""Object Identification Wizard.""Image recognition: It has allowed us to automate a GUI section of our product which involves drawing different topologies.""Very user-friendly and the low code automation is really helpful.""It has helped teams within our organization become more aware of the testing requirements in terms of risk and priority.""The solution is script-less, so you don't need IT knowledge to use the solution in an operational way. This is the most valuable feature. It's also only one of two or three tools that can do good automation on SAP, and in my opinion, it's the best of those.""We have to automate thousands of test cases and complete end-to-end SAP on business processes. To manually execute these tasks, it would take us at least two months. By automating these tasks using Tosca, now it takes five to 10 days maximum. Tricentis Tosca is a codeless or scriptless automation tool.""We are satisfied with the support of Tricentis."

"Visual Studio is an exemplary integrated development environment that stands out due to its exceptional features. It allows for the seamless selection of the appropriate programming language for the specific development tasks at hand. This facilitates a swift and effortless transition between languages, providing a highly efficient development experience.""The most valuable feature has been to store all our packages in one place including SSIS packages, SQL tables, TFS and SSR.""The solution is very stable; there's nothing in relation to stability to complain about.""Code testing is the most valuable feature of this solution for developing software.""The interface is easy to use.""The stability has always been very good.""The most valuable features of the solution are its ease of use and availability.""Visual Studio Test Professional is a scalable solution."

Cons
"It can be improved by including a feature that allows multiple file types to be selected simultaneously.""There are some compatibility issues with the load standpoint test.""The charts need to be more detailed and customizable.""Its UI is not very user-friendly and could be improved. For new users, it isn't easy.""I observed that the Excel and Word validation was quite challenging, which is an area for improvement in the tool. I also experienced minor difficulties with Telerik Test Studio, particularly in fetching elements in some scenarios when using C# for coding."

"Tricentis Tosca could improve on the ease of use. There is a steep learning curve. The reporting section could be better and some of the new features could be simplified. Additionally, the user management of the client and the server are confusing. There should not be two.""Security, UI, and basic performance improvements could be done to the product to enhance its use.""The support we received from Tricentis Tosca was good, but it can improve.""The product needs to improve object identification. The identify with properties and anchor methods work perfectly, while the by-index and image methods may face challenges.""One thing to improve in Tricentis Tosca is that it's not compatible with Excel based forms. Another area for improvement is that the tool is not compatible with OpenText applications. The support and licensing cost for it also need improvement. The tool also needs cloud support, as it's currently on-premises only.""The main area where there is room for improvement is how they do upgrades. Going through this current upgrade, we were delayed a month because we are using a third-party tool. It's called Tosca Connect by Tasktop. When this latest upgrade broke that relationship between the two, it took Tricentis a month to come back with a workable solution... Their whole upgrade process needs to be better and cleaner, from an end-user standpoint.""Tricentis Tosca's performance could be better. Sometimes when we are remapping or when it is loading it can take a lot of time. There are free solutions that have better performance in this area.""Making it more stable would be good because we get around 90% stability."

More Tricentis Tosca Cons →

"One of the problems with this solution is you need to be highly technically skilled to operate it, it is not for everyone.""The solution's deployment is not very easy and should be made easier.""It could be available for multiple platforms and other operating systems like Mac with a native port.""The database administration could be better; you should be able to choose new tools with the development environment in Visual Studio. It could be easier to use.""I would appreciate some enhancements in the interface, maybe adding more color options.""The solution's documentation could be improved for beginners.""The price is reasonable, but it's not the best.""The product must provide more integration."
