We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"The stability of the solution is very good. It's reliable. We don't have crashes or experience freezing. There aren't bugs or glitches.""I have found the location analytics feature that is built into the APs to be the most valuable. It allows you to compare data and to single out individuals who are repeatedly coming into your store. We can observe different trends. This is what separates it from a lot of the other solutions."

"The most valuable features are visibility and remote access.""The remote control we have helps us a lot.""We can do auto patch updates using SOTI. SOTI has been well placed in terms of the number of endpoints it can handle.""The most valuable features are remote control and geo-fencing.""All features are useful. It is useful for preventing the use of unauthorized software on corporate-owned devices. It provides an option to lock the devices for unauthorized software. The devices can only be used under the supervision of the device manager.""The installation is very straightforward.""SOTI's most valuable feature has to be mobile device management and visibility through the main console. There's a central dashboard that you can use to monitor the devices and keep track of usage, battery consumption, and battery life.""It is very reliable, and their support is excellent."

Cons
"We've really only experimented with their iOS client. This is due to the fact that their Windows client has a lot to be desired. We first tried experimenting with the Windows one but very quickly determined that it wasn't going to cut it for most Windows cases. The Windows portion of this product needs improvement. I'd say that it's not really viable.""The cost of installing this solution can be more expensive depending on who is doing the installation. Cisco is very expensive, and I'd like to see a reduction in cost."

More Cisco Meraki Systems Manager (MDM+EMM) Cons »

"There is room for improvement when it comes to the ability to customize devices and choosing what information goes onto them.""The solution could use better reporting.""In the next release, they should make it easier to migrate.""Adding more features for iOS devices would be an improvement.""The pricing policy of SOTI is not stable. You buy it today at one price, and the following year, it becomes something like 5% or 7% higher. From my point of view, SOTI is a little bit weak in terms of implementation on the new Windows 10 devices, and they have to work on this. It can't compete with Intune and other solutions when it comes to Windows implementation. It almost doesn't work with iOS. It works well with Android.""It would be helpful if the product offered more integration and more features around the iOS and macOS platforms.""Companies like SOTI and Mobile Iron are working with Google to help them manage these devices and eliminate the use of bar code scanner sales and mobile device sales. That's kind of crazy.""Its user interface needs to be improved."

"There are no costs in addition to the standard licensing fees.""Its pricing policy is not stable. The licensing is on a one-yearly, two-yearly, or three-yearly basis.
