Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable feature is the smooth integration.""SAP SuccessFactors Learning's most valuable features are accessibility and updated UX. The solution can be accessed from outside of the office network and the user's experience is good.""It is a very stable tool. It is the most stable security application.""I find the user interface user-friendly compared to the initial application.""The interface is really friendly, and the training embedded in it is very easy to use, explore, and search. The catalog is pretty strong.""Some valuable features include assigning various courses to employees based on their groups and roles, as well as providing specialized training for new hires.""The most valuable features of the solution were the deployment and onboarding.""The solution is a user-friendly application for learning, designing, and setting up courses."

"First time users, understanding accessibility and consolidated data is fairly easy. The solution improves productivity for users and reduces the need to switch between different tools.""The payroll and benefits engine is the most valuable Workday solution in my opinion. It is also easy to access.""I would say that we have definitely seen a return on investment.""We like the fact that this solution is very user-friendly, with a straightforward user interface.""Provides flexibility to integrate with the product. It has several tools, out-of-the-box, for integrations. It delivers pre-built interfaces for specific vendors, pre-built generic integrations to extract or push data into Workday through configuration.""The reporting feature is quite easy for a layman to use, and the look and feel of the application is good. Its security is robust. You will never find a use case that cannot be covered.""It was more efficient for the agents for their performance reviews, but when it came to HR and the recruitment team, it sometimes worked, and sometimes, it didn't work.""Workday is a holistic HR solution."

Cons
"SAP SuccessFactors Learning doesn't have a punch-in and punch-out facility.""One area I would like to improve in SAP SuccessFactors Learning is the overall user experience and product feedback loop.""I am talking about SAP in general, so there are multiple screens that you have to go through, and it takes some time to get used to it.""The flexibility and user-friendliness of the user's front end can be improved.""This solution does not support right to left for the Arabic Language, and the Arabic text support is very bad.""The GUI and dashboards are areas in the solution with shortcomings where improvements are required.""The initial installation could be a bit easier.""The solution should have a more user-friendly dashboard because its current dashboard is not so great."

More SAP SuccessFactors Learning Cons →

"This solution could be improved by providing user-level access to customization capabilities. Users currently rely on more technical teams to customize reports, for example.""They don't have worker payroll in the product. We have to solve our payroll. I hope one day they will be able to have their own localized standard payrolls for all countries.""The finance module of this solution is not great and needs improvement.""Workday does have a community site where people can go on and off for suggestions. They call them Brainstorms, and you can vote them up. That is something that they do well, but oftentimes, they seem to be racing to deliver something based on what a competitor is delivering. For example, if they hear SAP has this new functionality and learning that's going to be coming out, they prioritize there, which makes sense, but unfortunately, some of these Brainstorms may get neglected where the product might not be improved as quickly or as needed for the customers. You might be waiting for a year or two to get a feature that you'd like released. They should pay more attention to customer feedback and ensure that customer feedback is an essential part of their product roadmap.""My only suggestion might be to include a brief description of any new fields we introduce, making it easier for people to use them. Perhaps this is something they can consider implementing.""I would be happy if it was faster. Currently, when I try to navigate within the solution itself, it is a bit slow in terms of the page load time. When I click on something, it usually takes time to load. When you click on different icons or areas on the website, it is slow. Even when you navigate between different models, it is a bit slow. I would like to see a bit faster performance and a better user experience.""The user interface could be modernized somehow.""The UI, UX (user experience) is very bad. It is not very interactive."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "A company is required to pay annual licensing fees."
  • "SAP SuccessFactors Learning is an on-premise solution, there is a one-time fee, which will be given by a company during the implementation. Additionally, there are support fees, which are annual."
  • "The price of SAP SuccessFactors Learning could be better, it is expensive. There is an annual subscription. It's overpriced for small enterprises."
  • "The licensing cost for SAP SuccessFactors Learning is rather expensive, but it's not the only SAP tool my company uses in the suite, so it's very hard to compare prices."
  • "The solution is expensive, but it's a good product."
  • "The pricing changes and the license amount is quite costly."
  • "The additional costs in the solution are based on usage and in regard to the functionalities or services leveraged."
  • "I rate the price for SAP SuccessFactors Learning an eight out of ten, with ten being the highest."

  • "With a bigger budget, I would recommend SAP."
  • "Workday is an expensive solution."
  • "You have the license fee per module, and then you have a kind of annual training fee, which is a kind of add-on. I wouldn't say it is exhaustive; it is minor. Licensing is pretty transparent for most of the part."
  • "The pricing is good from an HR perspective, although management gets upset after spending $500,000 a year, every year."
  • "Its price is pretty high. It is more expensive than what is offered by other competitors in the market."
  • "It has an annual subscription rate, but I'm not sure how it will work."
  • "The pricing for this solution is fairly high. It is not affordable for small and mid-sized companies."
  • "By and large, Workday is expensive. It is based on the headcount. I'd probably rate it a three or four out of five in terms of pricing. It'd be like buying a Mercedes or a high-end car. It's expensive, but there's a specific value that you're getting with additional features and things of that nature. Using that metaphor, Workday probably tends to be more of a luxury. There are others like ADP that can do your payroll, your time off, and other things, but they don't do it as well."
