Our primary use case for this solution is for malicious activities.

We have different areas of DLP like drive, chat, email, network, and endpoint protection. We have different data classifications which are regulated in our industry. Based on that data regulation, we created a few policies as per our government standards, like the social identity number, personally identifiable information, and personal health information. 

We categorized data for different sectors, and we have applied policies, and Forcepoint DLP actively filters it. If I'm sending some PII to you, it should get filtered out because it's against the organization's norm. It does its job actively.

We use it for monitoring and blocking sensitive data in emails, following our new governance policy.

We're trying to use the solution for data loss prevention on the endpoints.

I primarily use the solution for endpoint network and cloud application channels.

We use this product to ensure that our intellectual property is protected. DLP gives us control over IPs and company-sensitive data. It also helps us ensure compliance with global policies and industrial policies like CISS, personally identifiable information, and all sorts of data. 

We use this solution for data theft and for some forensic work.

Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention works to protect data from attacks, which is a company requirement. It works on networks and has an OCR feature, with OCR being the primary use case for it in my company.

We use Forcepoint for compliance, PCI DSS, and data protection at the network, endpoint, and data discovery levels.

For our clients, the use of Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is to protect their data through web endpoints.

It's for DLP and to monitor and make sure that no key files are being sent out of the organization. It also helps in terms of tracking any abnormal behavior.

We have about 700 users and it's endpoint-based. We add an agent to the endpoints and it coordinates with the server.

Major compliance issues are faced by every manufacturer or by those who use customer data. From a compliance point of view, people want a DLP solution for their organization. Every organization needs a DLP solution to prevent data leakage to external sources outside the company, making it one of the major use cases for every customer as they require a DLP tool that covers multiple channels like email, web, network, printers, USB, and removable devices.

The solution helps with data loss prevention. It helps to prevent the loss of customer information in the environment.

We are customers of Forcepoint and I'm a senior information security engineer.

Forcepoint is installed on our company-issued laptops to act as an on-premises firewall. This ensures that we cannot access websites that are not whitelisted in the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) system, even when working from home.

We use it mostly for endpoint protection of PCI information, as well as PII, such as social security numbers.

We have a hybrid system, in that we utilize the cloud as well as our on-premises appliances. Depending on where the customer is, if they're on-premises or if they're working from home or elsewhere, we have that covered with the hybrid solution. Forcepoint has its product available in the cloud and we use the on-premises side when the data is going through the appliances.

The main purpose of DLP is to protect data from being sent outside of the organization without authorization. So, my client uses it to protect emails and web traffic and to integrate with content classification and USB blocking systems.

The primary use for the product is to protect our intellectual property. Additionally, I use the product for compliance and regulatory purposes, which means ensuring that certain data is protected in accordance with regulations and standard policies. 

I deployed the solution for three of our customers, and the primary use case is data loss prevention.

We are a solution provider and Forcepoint DLP is one of the products that we implement for our clients. We have Forcepoint DLP at one of the telcos and one of the things that we are trying to discover is information, across the organization, that is of a personal nature. We are using it to comply with POPI, which is the equivalent of GDPR in South Africa. We are also using it for PCI-DSS requirements. This discovery component works quite well with respect to the search.

We use the solution for processing our sensitive data which is strategic data and strategic information exchanged between our top management personnel. 

The purpose was to acquire the solution to protect us from incidents involving the sensitive data from our group getting taken. This happened previously, where data was taken from us and given to another competitor. There was another leak as well and since then we've tried to carefully guard our data and implemented, for example, Apple Mail to protect our mail from third parties.

We use Forcepoint primarily for data loss prevention and detection.

The primary use case is to protect sensitive data going out of the organization and helping the team to manage the incidents to create few to no false-positive incidents. 

Mac users can use Forcepoint DLP without any problem. They can create user-defined policies rather than using pre-defined ones. Using the fingerprinting policy can safeguard any data kept on a particular drive. We're using OCR to protect data being sent out through images implementing discovery policies to check if any particular file is been shared.  

We do managed services. We analyze customers' requirements, and then we suggest a proper DLP or endpoint data protection solution. We have implemented Forcepoint DLP and Forcepoint Web Gateway for multiple customers.

Forcepoint DLP is a part of a data protection program. A customer will rely on a main DLP and use a complementary tool, in addition to the DLP, such as a data classification solution like Boldon James or Microsoft Information Protection. They will also complement the solution with a rights management solution like Microsoft Rights Management. Forcepoint is part of a big portfolio for data protection.

We deploy the solution at customer sites. Most of our customers are in two sectors, financial and telecom. All of our deployments are on-prem.

In Sri Lanka, we had more banks for DLP. However, Forcepoint offers NetApp, CASB, and endpoint DLP from a single vendor.

The solution has a lot of use cases. 

In our case, it was to protect content based on keywords and typical actions like copying to external devices, printing, or taking snapshots, et cetera. 

We primarily use the solution for data loss prevention.

Many organizations will have different use cases with Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention. Many companies are moving to an Amazon AWS cloud-based dashboard.

The solution has three deployed options, cloud, on-premise, and hybrid.

We use this solution for data loss prevention, enforcement and monitored file labeling. 

We are mainly using this solution to protect internal documents. It's an internal document creator for the customers.

Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is used for securing your mission-critical data.

We mainly use this solution for data protection and access to our critical company information.  

The primary use case for this solution is DLP.

Most of the time we leave it at the first party level because of its ease of use and they do not need too much knowledge to use it. We offer it within the SMB market because it's not complex like other DLP solutions on the market, like McAfee. It is good for retail and the SMB, but I think they must have a COM-LAN with a stand-up LAN.

Our primary use case for this solution is to prevent leakage of enterprise legal data and company confidential documents.

Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is used for data protection.

Our main target is banking, insurance, and pharmacy — my main clientele.

We've been using this solution for about five, six years now. Our primary use case for Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention is for internal and external compliance, based on banking regulations. It also allows us to ensure that data within the organization is also protected - whether this data is in motion, in use, or at rest. At any point in time, data is always in a three-state situation. Either the data is at rest, which means it's not being used at all, or the data is being used. If someone works on the data, the data is in motion, which means it's moving from one location to another in the network.

We have some financial stuff which is critical for us and don't want to lose that data. This is the primary focus.

We use this product everyday in our organization. We plan to increase our usage this year.

We primarily use the solution to stop the loss of data through various channels. 

Our primary use case is for PCI certification so that the company employees' credit card information doesn't get lost.

The primary use case of this solution is to manage personal identification, and for data loss prevention in government.
