Feature-rich, easy to set up, and protects our data against different kinds of loss

What is our primary use case?

We have been implementing and designing solutions with CoSoSys as a part of the Host level DLP (Data leak prevention) solution. Our major cause is to provide a solution to protect data being leaked by their users, knowingly, via any application or software like web browsers, email, SaaS applications, drive, etc., or any hardware devices through MTP/PTP (mobile phones, wifi, USB, cd/floppy, printer, or ay such devices We have successfully implemented this solution in multiple customer environments, PAN India.

Pros and Cons

  • "The most valuable features are Device Control, Content-Aware Protection, Enforced Encryption, and eDiscovery."
  • "If CoSoSys comes up with a suite of Host DLP, along with Network DLP and SaaS DLP, it will cover all of the aspects of a DLP solution."

Stable with good central management and good technical support

What is our primary use case?

The solution handles risk and compliance aspects for our company. It handles everything including uploading documents, etc.

Pros and Cons

  • "The central management console is the solution's most valuable aspect."
  • "There needs to be support for Mac computers. Currently, McAfee does not work on iOS."

What other advice do I have?

We're a McAfee customer. We don't have a specific relationship with the organization. We are using the latest version of the solution. The solution is quite good and stable right now, but there are a lot of other products coming to the market. I'm currently investigating what other features customers need or are using to see if we can develop these out on this solution or not. Many organizations will find the solution has may features that would suit their needs and reduce the number of issues they face. However, it does depend on the individual company and what their unique requirements areā€¦

Endpoint modules provide us the protection we need

What is our primary use case?

Our primary use case for this solution is to protect data from being stolen from the company. It protects and monitors data that moves out without us knowing about it.

Pros and Cons

  • "The features I like most about this solution is the endpoint modules because it gives us the protection we need."
  • "I do have a problem with the database."

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend others to read the manual carefully before they start implementing it because it explains every small detail on how it works. I will rate it a nine out of ten.
