When it comes to scalability, a much larger team is needed to handle the system than would otherwise be the case with an SAP solution.

• JD Edwards EnterpriseOne vs Dynamics AX
• JD Edwards EnterpriseOne vs SAP
• JD Edwards EnterpriseOne vs Red Hat. 

We selected JD Edwards because technically it was sound, and commercially, it came at a good price. It was a great value.

We evaluated SAP and Oracle EBS.

I have evaluated other ERP solutions such as SAP, Navision, and Dynamics.

A lot of it is the partnership. Lots of vendors are willing to sell you a product, but then aren't there when something goes wrong. It really needs to be a relationship for the long term when you're looking for the solution, as well as meeting all of the functional requirements that you have.
