The solution is easy to handle. The tool has helped us develop many applications since it supports SQL and NoSQL languages. We are familiar with this language. Also, the solution’s interface design and database design are very easy. It is not so much complex. I have no experience working with other solutions.

The valuable features of Oracle Application Express (APEX), which I found to be the most beneficial for the development process, stem from the fact that it is a low-code platform based on PL/SQL. I have years of experience when it comes to RAC DB, and since it is used in the product, I can say that it is an efficient and convenient tool.

One standout feature of Oracle APEX is its seamless integration with backend procedures, allowing for quick updates without changing the front-end interface. Additionally, dynamic actions streamline user interactions, enabling complex behaviors like button interactions and API calls with ease. These features drastically improve development efficiency by simplifying backend-to-frontend changes and providing extensive customization options through dynamic actions.

I particularly enjoy the web builder capabilities, especially the Page Designer.

It offers so many elements or components to choose from, which is a major plus for me.

I don't need to know how things truly function with them, and I don't need HTML or have front-end understanding; I can just drag and drop and create or customize a web page by myself.

Oracle APEX's reporting features are simple yet powerful. The ability to quickly create CRUD screens has simplified many RAD discovery processes, while the APEX environment allows the product owners and dev teams to quickly understand the complex solutions and employ usage statistics to identify areas requiring improvement. The option to add external JavaScript tools in screen development enables the development of complicated mobile or web usage scenarios in rare cases where the APEX UX  is not enough.

The most valuable features of Oracle Application Express (APEX) are the ease and speed of development. Instead of engaging a large team of middleware, front-end, and database engineers, we can have professional look at the front end and have the user interface up and running in a matter of days. However, if you want to go far and implement very custom features, it doesn't require a lot of knowledge of front-end development, such as HTML, JavaScript, or other aspects.

One of the most valuable features is the ability to build very fast data-driven UIs. Also, those UIs are web-based and don't require any deployment on the user side. We try to avoid complex add-ons or additions, so we stick to the standard features that APEX provides. We also use it for some workflows and to present data out of services or databases.

In our experience with Apex, we find that minimizing reliance on HTML and JavaScript is preferable, especially considering our background as seasoned programmers adept in PL/SQL. Incorporating HTML and JavaScript can pose challenges due to potential compatibility issues when updates are made to JavaScript. We also make use of JASPER report integration for generating reports, a practice integral to our reporting procedures.

What I like best about Oracle Application Express (APEX) is that it doesn't require hard coding for reporting and building applications. It's a GUI-based application builder that even end-users with little development and language knowledge can develop applications on Oracle Application Express (APEX). The software is also very user-friendly, which I find valuable.

You don't have to know a lot of PL because it's built on PL/SQL. You don't need developers. You only need to design a good application that resolves a problem, or many problems, for companies and you're ready to go. When you design it, you just need to understand how the tools work, and it's almost drag and drop. APEX does all of the coding in the backend. You don't have to know how to code PL/SQL or CSS or HTML.

A lot of times I ask my clients why they don't use APEX. They have the Oracle database and it's free, so why don't they use it to build this application? They go to Grails or inside development with many developers. I never understood why they couldn't just use APEX to build their own applications. The solution is free, and you're building something inside the house and you have the people that can design your application. They use other technologies on top of Oracle.

One of the most valuable features is that we can develop everything locally and deploy it for different kinds of operators in different locations, so we can do our job in one piece. The benefit of that is that others can use these applications. They connect to the internet to do these kinds of applications based on the permissions for those users.

Developing based on a web-based application with APEX or another language is more simple and costly.

The first feature that I think is very important is that the product is able to safely deploy on the web. You can develop any application and you can share it on the web without any installation by the end client. The second-best option in Oracle APEX is that it is very easy and very fast. You can quickly create forms and reports and in the reports feature there are a lot of options to help complete tasks. In some ways, it is the same as in Microsoft Excel. You can create charts or create almost anything that has the same features as Excel and it will be immediately available for the end client to use it.

The security features have helped our applications to be secure from all dimensions.

I like that Oracle Application Express (APEX)has proven itself as a product. It's powerful and attractive, and it allowed my organization to modernize forms within two months, and I'm talking about one thousand five hundred forms.

The ministry here is very impressed with Oracle Application Express (APEX) that it decided to switch to the solution and that even .NET, Java, and Vega will use Oracle Application Express (APEX) versus other solutions.

Oracle Application Express (APEX) is a good platform; others cannot compare to it, especially regarding support, performance, and productivity.

What I found most valuable in the solution is its IDE Cloud because you don't need to do installations in the machines, and you don't need huge specifications.

I also found the PWA feature of Oracle Application Express (APEX) very powerful because you can produce substantial mobile applications, and it's as simple as clicking the built-in authentication, single sign-on LDAP (Active Directory). Because of the built-in features of Oracle Application Express (APEX), it's fantastic.

The solution is feature-rich, and it usually takes months to produce web services, especially group services in .NET or Vega. Still, with Oracle Application Express (APEX), it only takes a few hours, which is a significant improvement for the government here.

Oracle has yearly releases for this solution, three releases a year, so I'm delighted, and I'm expecting more features to be added to Oracle Application Express (APEX) in the future. Right now, it has all the capabilities my organization needs. The solution even lets you build your templates, UI/UX-wise, so I'm working on a project where I make my own UI/UX and theme faster through Oracle Application Express (APEX).

What I find the most valuable about Oracle APEX is that it is very fast.

Prior to Oracle APEX, we were using Oracle Developer/2000, or D2K for short. It's another RAD. RAD refers to rapid application development tool. These two tools are quite similar. So, they are very easy for us to migrate.

That's why we choose Oracle APEX. It is a very powerful tool. It has a lot of function and a lot of features that were not available in D2K. D2K is not available on mobile, for example. Oracle APEX is very convenient.

I like how we can actively develop and customize APEX because it's on the same database. We use all the E-Business Suite custom environment features in APEX. We use it because developers can fully leverage it. For example, in Oracle Application Framework, you have a download time of about half an hour before deployment. But there's no deployment time in APEX. You can see it after refreshing the page.
