Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Bizagi is really great for beginners because it's user-friendly and you can learn in it quickly, whereas other similar software are harder.""In Bizagi, all of the features are valuable.""This solution is easy to use and it is a good tool for process modeling.""One of the features I like is that when drawing any task, when putting a task on the process model canvas, I can simply click on it and see the other task icons for that task. It's just one quick, simple, straightforward connectivity from task to task.""The main feature of Bizagi is the speed to which we can automate processes and how we can modify them without a strong impact on the end users.""I very much like the reusable rules and forms, and the way Bizagi controls the process flow. I also like the document generating system to generate PDFs and then .doc files with information gathered from a flow. At the end of a process, you can generate a document that can be printed.""Bizagi is simple. It's simple to learn.""Business process modelling and simulation."

"The most valuable feature of OutSystems with discipline and the development processes. Instead of each developer doing tasks on their own with their own approach, et cetera, the solution would help bring some organization to the development process.""OutSystems' low-cost approach has positively impacted our productivity, because we were able to develop faster with OutSystems, enabling us to implement many changes during our sprint.""It is a stable solution, and the initial setup is straightforward.""OutSystems is a low-code solution. Most features are like drag-and-drop, so it's pretty easy to work. Thus it helps the organization by saving time for developers.""We've used features like batch processing timers, components, and integrations with other systems like SAP, which have accelerated our development process. In terms of productivity, we've seen a 30 percent reduction in screen design time and an additional 10 percent improvement when implementing client requirements. OutSystems' integration capabilities have significantly enhanced our app's functionality, making it quicker and easier to connect with other systems.""Integrations with external systems with SOAP and REST are easy to implement off-the-shelf, but a developer can always implement specific libraries for other integrations.""The solution helps to build mobile and web applications on SOAP and REST. You can integrate it with backend systems by submitting a code.""One thing I like about OutSystems is that there's no lock-in. You can keep running your applications because it's on .NET and hosted centrally. That's one of the advantages I see there in terms of not having an IT strategy that has a dependency on a particular platform."

"HR Case Management and Customer Service Management are two of the key areas which clients are using.""The most valuable aspect of the solution is the possibility of the application development cap so that we can digitize workflows.""It is robust and very user-friendly.""The most valuable feature is that this is a Cloud solution.""Good stable and scalable solution.""Identifies better ways to license software or eliminate unused software to save money.""ServiceNow has been implemented to streamline team workflows across different departments in our company. Users, including traveling leaders, were able to approve requests and authorize additional rights through the mobile platform.""It offers ready-built automation and simpler configuration for workflows."

More ServiceNow Pros →

Cons
"From a developer's point of view, an improvement in the layout would make the UI better.""I would like to see more in terms of analytics and better reporting.""Also, the tool sometimes feels not so mature when we find random deploy errors from testing to production environment.""Enhancing data generation methods for easier printing and refining the file attachment and user interface to optimize usability.""Bizagi doesn't have integrations with other solutions, such as ERP systems. In the industry and your company, you have a lot of systems with which you need to integrate, but Bizagi doesn't have such integrations, which makes it very difficult. Its scalability can also be improved. It is good for a startup, but when you need something more complex, it is not good.""The product must make automation easier.""It works slowly on the cloud, sometimes.""I don't know if it's a problem with my operating system or a Bizagi problem, but many times I see that when I try to connect different activities, they show up as not connected."

More Bizagi Cons →

"The dashboards in OutSystems could improve. There are a lot of tabs in the service center that can be confusing.""The resource availability needs to be increased.""The asynchronous processing and multithreading tasks for which the current resources of the platform are very generic and not built for the end-user. Any asynchronous jobs have to be constructed with an end-user dashboard to allow inspection of the status of the activities.""The documentation needs to be more robust.""Its ability to create and run automated tasks could be better.""The installation is a bit tedious.""The product's high price is an area of concern, where improvements are required.""The solution's testing framework needs to be improved, and the workflow should be slightly more mature."

More OutSystems Cons →

"The level of complexity and the level of discovery are the two areas that can be improved. Its UI needs to evolve. They focus a lot on cool colors and other little things, which don't bring value in terms of functionality. They need to focus less on presentation and more on the functionality within the UI. Its discovery mechanism should be improved. There is a component in ServiceNow that discovers the assets, but it doesn't do an immediate discovery, and there is a lag. If I want to open a ticket for a laptop or an asset, that asset needs to exist within ServiceNow for me to be able to say that I need to have its disk space or memory increased. It is referred to as a CI or configuration item in ServiceNow. Sometimes, ServiceNow doesn't discover these items, and as a result, I cannot open a ticket and tag that system or asset. If a system was introduced to the environment last week and it is still not listed, it becomes a problem. I will either have to wait or manually enter that system or asset. So, if I have a laptop with only 8 GB of memory and I want to request 16 GB of memory, I won't be able to do that in ServiceNow because my system or asset hasn't been discovered yet. Discovery is not immediate, and there is a lag.""They could improve license management, particularly when integrating different applications or toolsets.""We would like to have an Asset Management and/or Project Management feature enabled in this version and in the IT Service Management edition.""It would be nice if we could, with some specific access rights, move histories from one squad to another, as they generate dependencies or duplicate or flag them.""It's a great platform, but there's still room for improvement. As the solutions stands now, you do need a lot of previous experience to use it. It would be great if they could develop some use case templates. This would be beneficial for a small and medium-sized businesses.""There is a need to learn scripting because as in the case of all the ITSM tools, scripting is needed for customization. If you're not very comfortable with scripting, then you may feel that you cannot do everything in ServiceNow without learning scripting.""The Software Asset Management feature can be improved. We would like to see more features for the Software Asset Management functionality. Its price can also be better. It is currently more expensive than other solutions.""Loads slower than expected, and its user interface needs improvement. Support for this product also needs to improve on their response time."

  • "For the prices, we didn't try a negotiations about licensing or pricing, but if i can say a word about this, I find Bizagi prices to be well thought out."
  • "The modeler itself is free. For the whole BPM suite, there are other options that may be better."
  • "It is on par with other BPM tools, but not as expensive as Pega nor Appian."
  • "If they can freeze the pricing in a contract, I advise them to do so."
  • "I think that its price is reasonable."
  • "This solution would be expensive for a company that has a lot of users."
  • "The Bizagi modeler can be downloaded free of charge."

  • "OutSystems was open to a deal that worked for both sides."
  • "It is still very expensive, so small companies can’t generally afford it... Still, the time saving on development and delivery is worth the value."
  • "You should contact OutSystems for more details but my opinion is that it is not for small business budgets."
  • "Pricing could be a concern. You have to pay yearly, even after you have completed your development."
  • "For a single application, it's too expensive."
  • "OutSystems is a good solution, but it's not cheap."
  • "I think the pricing for OutSystems is comparable with similar solutions. I would place it somewhere in the middle. We pay for the bundle and don't pay anything extra in terms of licensing and other fees."
  • "The subscription is billed on a yearly basis."
  • More OutSystems Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "The first impact for the customer is that it is expensive, but do not forget that it is a solution that includes infrastructure; a single cost, easy to justify."
  • "It has a higher cost compared to local/regional solutions."
  • "We know that ServiceNow is not cheap, it's more expensive than other solutions. But we are trying to increase our ability to handle tickets so that the cost per ticket is less."
  • "It's sold as a less expensive solution, but it has to be highly modified. That's where you get into the cost."
  • "ServiceNow pricing is an art, not a science. The deal depends on how commercially savvy you are, which does make it something that is quite difficult to get right. It is most definitely an opportunity area for ServiceNow to improve and have more visibility around pricing of the different products within the platform."
  • "ServiceNow is a leader and its pricing is quite good, quite competitive... Sometimes some plugins are not priced reasonably but, generally, the platform itself, its modules, are priced reasonably."
  • "Isn't pricing always too much? We really do chafe at the ITIL licensing. ITOM is also pretty expensive."
  • "Initially, the licensing model ServiceNow came up with was very good. But now, from a licensing perspective, they are changing their model day by day. It is becoming a bit expensive for customers."
