For a layperson, it is quite interactive and quite helpful. From my experience, it was smooth.

Its initial setup is very straightforward. It is just a matter of you basically going to the website, and it is right there. You don't even need to have used any graphic design software such as Visio. If you've used any document management tool, such as Microsoft Word, you can go into Lucid and set it up and use it very easily. It is so simple.

The initial setup is pretty straightforward. My implementation strategy was as simple as setting it up and sending the link to my team members. From there, we were able to design our charts.

No maintenance is required.

The initial setup was straightforward and easy. I taught myself to use the tool by following tons of tutorials online.

There are so many cool functions that learning the tool is ongoing. You don't need a tutorial to start since you just drag and drop shapes but there's a world to discover! To this day, I still look up better ways to use the tool and love to learn new functionalities.

I clicked on the preset format of the hierarchy chart and then I went in and started adding the jobs, titles, and departments. From a user standpoint, it was very straightforward and easy to use. It just wasn't very customizable as far as spacing was concerned.

I was using the free version and I got up to 30 boxes. I had to upgrade to have more boxes. At first, I didn't do it because, being a teacher, to get anything bought was like an act of Congress. You had to go through a whole checklist of people and places and things to get something approved to be bought. In this case, I just went to my administration and said that it was a good chart and I needed more features. We bought the monthly package. So the process was very easy and straightforward. If you want the stuff, you only need to make a few clicks and you got approved.

My initial setup was very straightforward. My company already purchased the tool. When I tried to sign in with my company email, they automatically sent me an email with some steps, then I started using it.

It did not take me long to set it up. I just signed up for Lucidchart and my team provided me with the license. It was very easy to use.

I watched a couple of help videos, but I didn't find the setup very complex. It's fairly intuitive and easy to use. The setup took a couple of days. I did it by myself, using online help and whatever I found in the help portion of the application.

It doesn't require any maintenance on our side.

On my personal project, the initial setup was super easy. I just logged in and I started using it. I have to say we had a little bit of difficulty when we used it with my company because for some people, when the person who created the chart started inviting us to the chart, we had a few difficulties in getting the permission and access we needed. That's probably related to the fact that we are using the company's Lucidchart account. Therefore, we had to get some special admin permissions. That said, it took us a little while to get everyone on it and authorized to start working on it.

To set everything up took a couple of days due to the fact that there were six of us working on a specific project. It was created by one person, and out of the six of us, three of us had some issues, as in, we received the invitation, we accepted it, and it redirected us, and yet we were sent to a blank board instead of the board we needed. What happened is the admin of our Lucidchart account either triggered permission or sent us a link, and we accessed it directly and we ended up being fine. It was nothing very problematic.

Everything was straightforward, but in part that is because of the way our organization does everything. Lucidchart lives in a tile on a landing page where we access tools. I hit that and then it said, "You'll have free access for seven days, but to get a license click here." When I clicked for a license it went through our company's process and then they added me to the enterprise license and I got an email. It was just seamless. I didn't have to talk to anybody and didn't have to download anything. It was just done.

I don't have too formal a setup. As far as setting up, it's pretty much plug-and-play. Lucidchart makes it easy to adopt the product. You're not really twisting and turning and setting things up. It's plug-and-play.

It took me around five minutes to set up.

I'm a beginner. I'm using around 15% of the product but there's a lot more for me to use. That's definitely exciting.

In my first week, there was a presentation. A manager shared his deck with a Lucidchart diagram in it. I immediately recognized the tool and thought that it was great that my new company uses Lucidchart and I didn't have to request it. I tried to open a new account for myself because it was free, and then I saw the presentation and realized that the company uses a paid version, so my account was upgraded immediately.

The CEO and his team use it. I have no idea who else is using it unless I see a chart in a presentation, and this is also why we're not working on this together. When I see the button "Share" it means to me that I'm sharing this tool with other tools, not a person.

This initial setup is pretty straightforward. It's a subscription-based tool, so you just create an account, you pay for it, and then you start using it. There is no implementation strategy needed.

All of the technical people in our organization use it. We have about 50 people in the organization and I estimate that 45 use Lucidchart. Approximately 50% of them are business analysts and consultants, and the other 50% are developers.

This is not the type of product that we need to maintain.

The initial setup of Lucidchart is a pretty straightforward process. There is still stuff I'm learning as I go, when it comes to knowing what to look for with different templates. But if the most basic function you need is to make process maps, and to do it quickly, and then figure out what you've got to improve, it's very effective at that.

The setup is very straightforward. I search for existing templates for what I'm trying to achieve. I pull two to three templates that could potentially work and make a rough draft and then run it by the team, saying, "Is this the right way to visualize the process?" We then make modifications or we try other templates.

It is definitely easy to implement. It will not take a ton of time to get up and running using the tool.

We did not set it up company-wide. If people have a need for it, then we create an account for them, and that's it.

You can create a basic chart in five to six minutes without any problems. 99 percent of the things that you want to do are right there and exceedingly obvious on how to do them.

As far as deployment, the only thing that I would tell people is go use it. They can figure it out without having me train them on it. If they need to use it, it's intuitive enough that I don't provide any training on how to use it. Everyone figures it out pretty easily.

I was not there for that. There is a whole team that does that. They know how to handle Lucidchart. They handle other tools too.

For its maintenance, maybe one or two people are required on a regular basis. They just need to send out very quick and short surveys to see our experiences with the software. It is usually done when we are getting close to renewal, and then they see if it's worth extending the licenses.

It doesn't really require any day-to-day maintenance because everything is stored in the cloud. It doesn't require any kind of configuration.

We have six or seven folks right who are using it. There are developers, people on the QA team, the product manager, and the engineering manager.
