Basically, the fact that we moved to one platform and away from emails has helped us. Everybody can see what everybody else is saying, so we don't have to plow through tons of emails. The fact that there is a history already there for somebody to see, at least since the time they became a member of a group or a team, is the biggest time saver. 

We can always scroll back and look at the history to see what happened and react based on the context of the conversation or discussion. For me, that would be the biggest advantage of moving away from emails.

It doesn't offer much in terms of improving the organization. It's just used for chatting, being in touch with others, and setting up meetings.

We use Dependency Track. I had multiple issues during the configuration. I contact the tool developer using Slack to identify the issue. The developer provided me with a resolution, and the issue was resolved.

Slack has helped to increase the productivity of my teams and organization. We have been able to cut down on subscription costs, reduce client delivery time, troubleshoot more effectively, and achieve positive results more easily. Its intuitive design makes it easy to use and understand, hence we do not have a need to spend much on educating our teams.

Slack has made communication much easier in our company. I can text someone in the company or send a message. I can also have an audio call with a couple of team members on the go without needing to start setting up calls on Zoom or Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams. I can have that voice or video call right away on Slack.

The product makes communication seamless. There are around 200 employees in my organization. If the HR personnel want to reach us, they use the channels to put up messages, posters, and banners for workplace events or blood donation drives. They use the channels whenever they want to spread information about anything.

We have slashed our internal emails by 30% and streamlined the tools we use for instant messaging.

Slack allows our employees to share information on a daily basis without overloading email.

It has encouraged more transparent communication, getting more staff members exposed to and involved in different areas of the business.

I was the president of a college event planning organization. Being able to have a conversation with my executives separately from the organization members was very convenient.

With multiple events happening and multiple conversations going on, I was able to divide the conversations into their respective groups and create channels for focus groups. This increased our productivity and efficiency by more than 80%.

The quick line of communication, most certainly improves the functionality of our organization. Discussions can happen at the drop of a hat, in a Slack channel and a critical decision can be agreed upon to take further action. Triage of customer issues can happen at the moment of crisis and this is of huge assistance as to how we can get our product back up and running, when needed.

Everyone's up to date with what's going on in our product development, marketing and sales. We communicate faster and no one has any troubles learning how to use the communicator.

Earlier, while we used to communicate through email, it was good but it became difficult to keep track of all the projects and keep ourselves updated with the latest changes. Since we started using Slack, we have been able to solve each other's problems and identify all of the loopholes within a reasonable timeline.

Slack has been very useful in our organization for doing communications and passing on pieces of information.

Previously, we were using Skype and HipChat, but the issue was we had bad notifications systems, so that's why we shifted to Slack.

We are able to manage various channels by different locations and subjects, and it integrates with Google Drive.

Communication with clients became easy. Different groups for different teams helped a lot in the planning and execution. Everyone stays updated with the progress without any ambiguity.

More often than not, members of our team are on the go rather than in the office. With Slack we have increased communication between teams which has improved executions of complex interdepartmental procedures.

We can group conversations around different issues. The issues are entirely created by us, in-house. It works well for a small team with opt-in members.

Slack kept several remote employees working cohesively and seamlessly together, allowing us to more easily synchronize our efforts and work collaboratively rather than "islands unto ourselves," so to speak. Coding, writing, editing, etc. was all done in an effective manner, as a result.

Messages are well organized and attachments are not removed from our channels. It’s easy to search for a message through their search functionality. It has improved my company by letting our team work efficiently together and quickly.

It has definitively made an improvement on our productivity. Information does not got lost in hundreds of less important messages. If you want something about a specific topic, you just go to that channel, scroll a bit, and eventually you will find it.

For projects, it's improved how we share files. The Google Drive extension means that files can be housed right inside of Slack. We can focus on work without distractions.

We've been using it almost from the very start. It has helped us keep communication open between our international offices.

We are given an overview of our system status. We are able to respond quickly to infrastructure events, marketing events, customer service events, etc.

Slack is a very robust, flexible platform, which allows for a lot more, not just chat.

Inter-department communication in wizarding world relies on paper planes while muggles can easily manage everything with Slack ;)
