I rate Blue Prism Cloud nine out of 10. If you're implementing Blue Prism, you should consider how fast you'll need to scale. If you don't plan ahead, you're liable to get out of proportion. 

Blue Prism has really good training courses. People planning to use the solution must take a look at the courses. It is a really helpful product. Overall, I rate the product a nine out of ten.

The team that takes care of Automation Anywhere is also involved in the maintenance of Blue Prism.

I advise people to use the solution as it is a good product. They should negotiate as negotiation is available on the pricing part of the solution.

Currently, I'm new to Blue Prism Decipher IDP. So I need some demo or process templates from Decipher IDP. Getting a template that tells me how to integrate Blue Prism Decipher IDP with our current process would be very helpful.

We are doing one POC in our company, and they provided me with one virtual machine. In that virtual machine, Decipher IDP was installed through the Decipher IDP server. I opened Decipher IDP through the web browser and am using it in Blue Prism Cloud.

I would recommend Blue Prism Cloud to other users.

I'm using only Blue Prism Cloud, a complete automation technology.

The solution is deployed on the cloud, as I proposed. An on-premises deployment always has the risk of ransomware and other types of attacks versus the cloud deployment, which is pretty secure with its different security layers, including the backups.

The maintenance of Blue Prism Cloud depends on the business. For example, some companies run twelve hours daily, while some run twenty-four hours a day. For a 24 x 7 business, three people plus one backup handles the maintenance. If anyone falls sick or leaves, my company needs to ensure that the three shifts are covered, plus there's on-call support for particular issues; if any problem arises during non-working hours, the on-call support will take care of it. During weekends, there's a maintenance window, and two people on rotation perform the maintenance activity.

My company has almost seventy Blue Prism Cloud licenses. One license, for example, has three to four resources. Currently, my company has one hundred fifty resources on Blue Prism Cloud.

In the future, no additional support is required, and the solution can be managed with the same team size, so there isn't any plan to increase Blue Prism Cloud usage.

The advice I'd give a person looking into using Blue Prism Cloud is that it depends on your requirement because it's not always necessary to use a cloud solution every time. It depends on what area you're focused on and what technical work you want to perform. If you're working on security, then I suggest cloud technology. If you need automation, then Blue Prism Cloud is the best. If you want to move regular servers or applications, you can use Azure and AWS instead of Google because I worked on all three cloud technologies. I prefer AWS, then Azure, then Google. Google isn't capable enough to perform all tasks efficiently and requires much technical knowledge. If you're a non-technical person, you'll need more time to learn Google technology versus AWS and Azure, which you can use even with less technical knowledge.

My rating for Blue Prism Cloud is eight out of ten.

I rate Blue Prism Cloud seven out of 10. 

Blue Prism is the latest acquisition for us and we don't refer to or we don't recommend Blue Prism for the time being because I want to test the solution for myself. My recommendation would be UiPath, Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere. I am waiting and see how the new acquisition is going, how they're performing in the market, and what their strategies are.

I rate Blue Prism Cloud a seven out of ten.

If it aligns with your requirements, I would recommend using Blue Prism. So, if you need the perception of a more suit-and-tie cooperative kind of thing, then I would recommend using Blue Prism. 

Or, if you already have advanced skills and are using ABB Ability Document Capture for your other document intake and intelligent document needs, then Blue Prism Cloud would also be a good option.

However, if you are new to RPA and don't need a high-end product, then I would recommend another product, such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere. These products are less expensive and have a larger user community, which can be helpful for getting help and support.

Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. 

If you want to use the Blue Prism updated version on Azure, you have to make sure that the Windows version that you are using is compatible. This is because there are some features in Blue Prism Cloud that do not allow you to work with the latest Windows functionality. 

I would recommend others to understand what different RPA tools there are in the market and how compatible they are with different domains. Blue Prism is a good option for those looking for good security. 

I would rate this solution a seven out of ten. 

In terms of advice, I'd say that if you have the technical expertise, it's a good tool, however, it's difficult to get training without being involved in a project. So it's kind of hard to break into it, as opposed to some of the competitors' tools where anybody can download the tool and get working and learning without having to actually be on a project. It helps to have access to free training and tools and community additions of the tool which unfortunately doesn't really come from Blue Prism. 

It's a very sound tool with a good reputation for having a good security model, which is important to a lot of companies and it's got more of an object-oriented design flavor to it. Deployment is a mix of private, public and hybrid cloud. There is about a 50/50 split between Azure and AWS.

I would rate the product an eight out of 10. I will likely give it a higher rating when there is easier access for people who want to learn how to use the tool. I think that's what's holding us back.

I rate Blue Prism Cloud a nine out of ten. It is a stable platform. We haven't encountered many problems with it. Also, we can resolve the issues quickly, if any.

This is a very stable solution. It does not require too much knowledge on programming because it has a bunch of native features that work consistently. 

I would rate this solution a ten out of ten because it provides everything we need in every phase. Blue Prism does not only focus on RPA solutions but also on the different areas that a process could be analyzed from including from a business, technical and financial perspective. 

I would rate the overall tool a nine out of ten. The tool is very easy to use. You can start using it without even knowing about RPA. You can spend a couple of hours daily on the documentation and learn about the tool within a week or two.

It's more from a strategic perspective, but I believe it makes sense overall. We've installed it both on-premises and in the cloud, and the cloud has proven to be far more beneficial simply because the environment is outsourced. Where providers offer this maximum uptime, it simply eliminates the need for on-premises support.

At this point, I haven't found anything that I can't do with this platform. It is a product that I recommend.

It's a very consistent end product but recently, I don't think they have any more upgrades to release. It's a very clear and consistent tool but it's restricted when it comes to the ability to integrate with other tools.

I would rate it an eight out of ten. I would rate it this because when compared with UiPath and Automation Anywhere, they do not provide the debugging option and other features that Blue Prism does. Blue Prism offers a better solution.

There are a lot of RPA vendors available, each with pros and cons. Blue Prism has a lot of capability but the key concern is identifying business processes that can be automated.

On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate Blue Prism as an eight out of ten.  

I do have some other reservations about the product. Personally, I would recommend using something else for automation projects, but I'm not in a position to make that choice in my company. I mean, it is a very good product for doing what it does. It is very stable and does its job. Somehow, even if automation of this type are fairly modern, I feel like Thoughtonomy was created for people who learned to code 30 years ago and not for the developers of today. It may not be taking full advantage of advancement in technology.

Depending on the complexity of your process, you might need a simple solution, then it will be good to have a less expensive solution. If you have really complex process, this is a very good solution and the price is fair.

Blue Prism Cloud is the best RPA software if you have the money. I rate it a seven out of ten. 

We are a Platinum Blue Prism partner.

The solution offers a trial version now, so it's super easy, now, compared to six months back when there was no free version. It used to be hard to know if the solution was right and companies would have to risk spending money to find out. Now, the solution is similar to UiPath, which has been offering free trials since the beginning. 

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.

I'm quite sure that we are using the latest version of the solution.

We're a software company, so we develop applications and solutions for other companies. If the client looks at Blue Prism and wants it as the robot that will be used as the implementation tool, then that's when we'll use it.

I'd recommend the solution. Blue Prism is a good product. I'd recommend that others make sure that the effort, in terms of the estimation of time and man-hours needed are done in a proper manner. Users implementing the solution need to make sure that they know the processes in detail. They need to understand the manual processes before they can actually automate them. This will help achieve a better estimation of costs.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten overall.

It's good. If the pricing model works for you, it's not a bad solution. You just have to figure out whether the pricing model works for your type of use case and for your needs. There are a lot of automation vendors, and depending on your use case, you can decide which is worth investing in. If you have the required budget that can sustain Blue Prism, then it's a good solution.

We were a customer and an end-user.

I previously used Kofax, at my other company. The previous organization never went to the cloud, so it was pretty small scale.

I used both Blue Prism and UiPath in tandem. The organization is moving more towards UiPath, due to some sort of service agreement, so Blue Prism isn't being used as much as it used to be. We don't have a partnership with Blue Prism.

Blue Prism is the pioneer in RPA. They came early to it. Automation is there, and other features came later.  

The only thing is that they were not that flexible. In terms of people getting to know the product well, it takes a lot of time. That's the only thing that Blue Prism failed to do initially, was make it user friendly. As a product, personally, I like Blue Prism. 

I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. Blue Prism just isn't as flexible compared to other solutions, which is why I didn't mark it quite so high. The security is quite good, though. If it relied on less code customization, more drag and drop functionality, and was more user friendly, I'd rate it much higher.

I would rate Blue Prism a seven out of ten.

They should improve the user-friendliness and they should change their business model. Because companies need to become a partner and have to pay €60,000 upfront, or be a member upfront, to be partners. So, it's a bit of a waste of money. I don't understand their business model.

The tool is there but it should be a self-service tool where people just buy the program and use it. Why make it so complicated? 

It is really a program for business users, so why make it so complicated with implementers and partnerships et cetera? 

Typically the value of Blue Prism Cloud depends on the user's needs. Most people would only really need Blue Prism Enterprise on-premises but people like the additional functionality of being on the cloud. Both products are good solutions. I do think that a lot of our clients going for Blue Prism Cloud when in reality they could probably get away with the Enterprise version — or even something else. We often deal with people who are early in their RPA journey, so they are just starting out and getting to know the advantages of the products and automation. So I would typically recommend that they go with Enterprise and if they feel like they need to move on to Cloud then they can do that later. But a lot of people like that functionality, they want the OCR and they want the AI capability that comes with the cloud. So often they choose cloud but they may just be doing that because it either seems new or it is progressive and advanced or whatever.  

On a scale from one to ten (where one is the worst and ten is the best), I would rate Blue Prism Cloud as a seven-out-of-ten. I am no expert on using it first-hand, but I think reducing the costs, speeding up the deployment, maybe adding a few other product package offerings in order to make it a little bit easier to adopt — those things might make it more attractive to a broader range of users. Right now you have to buy into it all in one go and that might be daunting to people who hardly know what they are getting into. I think improving support and making it less complex to sort of get up and running could be key areas to focus on.  

Blue Prism has good features and the tool has the full capability to deliver timely solutions. However, technical training is something that needs to be addressed because making it more available is necessary in order to help an organization grow.

Compared to other products, from a technical point of view with the architecture and the openness of the product, I rate this solution close to the top. Compared to UiPath, this is a very clear and well-presented tool. However, it suffers in terms of marketing and licensing. It is also difficult for people to initially learn. It will take time for an individual or a developer to pick it up, although once they do, it works well.
