Quotes From Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros
"The most valuable features are the reports, overall usability, and ease of use.""The solution helps me to structure and track marketing and sales emails.""It's my understanding that the initial setup is a straightforward process.""If we are having any difficulties, I can easily reach out to support executives and have a resolution. I am not sure if we paid for the technical support.""The most valuable feature is probably automating the system. I can send mass emails to pretty much all my contacts or certain ones that meet the demographic requirements. I've used this one and one other CRM with an auto sales company. From my experience, just the ease of use and the user interface on HubSpot is phenomenal. It's really simple and easy to navigate the program. The functionality is phenomenal, and not just the Microsoft Office part but also with LinkedIn Sales Navigator. It's pretty nice."

"The main feature of Marketo is sending out emails, so that would be the most valuable feature.""The most valuable feature of this solution is Smart Campaigns.""The smart campaign looks quite interesting and useful.""It is a very user-friendly solution. I'm mainly working on Design Studio, which is useful for companies in tracking repeat users. The progressive proofing is also useful. It is not available in other solutions.""The most valuable features are the Marketo emails, both sending and tracking."

Cons
"HubSpot is mainly for enterprise clients and there is a lot of competition. There are better solutions, such as Eloqua and Marketo. This solution needs to improve the analytics for social media monitoring to a level that it can compete with other solutions available in the market. There are some limitations with the features compared to other solutions.""It would be ideal if there was a way to forward a notification or create notifications for non-HubSpot users.""The search and questions aren't as intuitive as I would expect from a platform like this.""The solution does not enable one to know with certainty if another opened an email he had sent.""The upcoming tasks feature could be better. With HubSpot, whenever I put the contact information into Microsoft Office or Microsoft Outlook, it automatically inputs it into HubSpot. For example, it keeps telling me to contact my Solaris representative as an upcoming task. I've tried changing the contact in it to "not a lead," but it keeps sending me that notification."

"Marketo should give more power to the users for data manipulation.""I had an issue while integrating JavaScript with forms. When you embed JavaScript, you can either embed it in a landing page or some other self-contained management system like WordPress. Currently, it provides you access to CSS, where you can customize your form design, but there is no option for JavaScript modification for a particular form. This area needs to be improved where you can integrate JavaScript, and it has the JavaScript functions for that particular form. There are a lot of other areas of improvement. In the design area, they can give us more testing options instead of relying on email testing alone. It would be great if they can provide responsive testing where email clients can be tested within Marketo. It would be also helpful if they can implement some in-built options for users or forms for blocking a generic email ID such as Yahoo or Gmail. Similarly, it would be helpful to have JavaScript features and forms as well as the option to add Google analytics and a header and footer for the landing pages.""Its APIs need to be more flexible because there are some things that are not available in the API.""It could be more scalable.""Adobe, the parent company, needs to improve on getting more information published to allow users to educate themselves on how to use the solution."

Pricing and Cost Advice
"I believe an individual license costs $50 per month.""We are on an annual license for this solution. There have many different versions to meet the needs of their customers, such as professional enterprise and basic versions. They charge for the particular feature or components which are available in the license you have."

"The licensing cost usually depends on the users.""The solution is expensive compared to others.""It is expensive. We have a yearly license.""I'm not sure about the cost because I don't get into this aspect. Clients normally take care of that. I only know that it is costly, and I don't think there are any additional costs to the licensing."
