The cost of Microsoft Exchange Online is approximately $4 to $36 per user. They do not give a discount which is not good. The solution is expensive if you have 800 to 1,000 users. They should give discounts when you have a lot of users.

Microsoft Exchange Online is very expensive. While it might seem a bit expensive, the benefits outweigh the cost for us. We wouldn't consider changing unless absolutely necessary.
We pay yearly. It's roughly around $22.00 per user per year for the cluster with over a thousand users.

The solution's pricing is reasonable. It's not very cheap, but it's reasonable somehow. It depends on the plan because the cloud users do not buy Microsoft Exchange Online separately. They take a Microsoft 365 plan. It's very rare that a customer comes and says that he needs only emails.
Customers purchase the plans of Microsoft Office, including Windows license from the cloud, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. All these products come with the bundle of Microsoft 365. So, the pricing depends on the plan you are going through.
The pricing is based on a yearly contract and a floating license option is offered.
We pay a yearly licensing fee for the solution. The cost depends upon the plans we choose and the types of applications we want to use. We have a three-year deal with Microsoft to get a good price for the product. They are very willing to revise the price, accompany us for the setup, and give us a framework. They are very impressive to work with. There are no additional costs associated with the product.

We have an Office 360 subscription.
I'm not sure. It's somewhere between $100 and $200, but I couldn't tell you.
I didn't install it on my computer. The app is a resident on my computer, but it's a Microsoft Office subscription with automatic updates, and it's not like a version of the application that I purchased and installed on a disc on my machine.
I don't own the application because I pay an annual subscription to use it.
Previously you had to buy it at a computer store and own it until you purchased the next version. That is not the case. I pay approximately $120 or $150 per year, and as long as I pay that amount, they will do regular updates so that I always have the most recent and greatest version of the application.

We have an enterprise agreement with Microsoft. Since the last renewal, we have had one more 100% increase in the license due to new acquisitions. We asked Microsoft to provide some discount. Instead, they increase the license cost. The price is not competitive.
We only pay for an enterprise agreement, which includes on-site engagement activities from successful engineers, training sessions, vouchers for exams, etc.

The pricing is fine. I've discussed this with customers, and they have found the price point to be fair. When you compare it to others, like Google, it is competitive. If it could be lower, of course, it would be ideal.

View full review »I would advise being aware of the organization's requirements. Also, an in-house technical person that can help in terms of managing is a necessity, because Exchange Online requires a continuous management process. The solution is not one that can just be deployed one-off and let go; it has to be continuously managed. Also, Exchange Online is quite cheap.
There is a license for Microsoft Exchange Online and I have information on that, but there have been so many changes to the licensing and it's a completely different story nowadays. Microsoft has been pushing users to buy a package of products under one license. Users are becoming more dependent on Microsoft rather than independent, that you can't decide anymore, and from my point of view, that is bad.

Pricing is good. However, it's also not exactly cheap.
It's my understanding that we have a contract that runs for two or three years with an enterprise agreement backing all this up. We do not buy on a yearly basis. That would be unusual for our company to buy for such short term.

The model is one which is pay-per-use go. There is no license. We are talking about per-user subscription-based use.
When it comes to the license, we are already talking about Microsoft. There is also provisioning. Otherwise, it's just plug and play. There are not many administrative tasks involved.
A business user who occupies a very small portion of the industry can pay less for a suite. The desktop and web versions are also posibilities.
