We did evaluate OIracle and found the price to be too high. The implementation timeline was also very long. 

My organization is pushing to move to the Jira platform or to use Scrum instead of Waterfall.

The solution is better than Jira. 

We did not evaluate other options. We used what we had, and tried to save money. We already have Microsoft Project, and we decided to use it.

While it is my understanding that we did look at other solutions, I was not part of that tendering process. I don't know which ones were vetted.

I have evaluated other products. 

MS Project was sufficient for our requirements, so we did not evaluate any other options.

There are some serious competitors in this sector. For instance, there is Clarity from CA, Planview and  HP PPM. These are some of the other competitors that you have on the market. I think the Microsoft products are very user friendly, the ease-of-use is an asset.

We had evaluated other solutions before we chose Microsoft Project, such as Clarizen. Based on our discussion with the client, we decided to go with this solution.

While we're likely to use Microsoft, we're also looking at Jira, Confluence, and Trello.

We didn't evaluate any other solutions.
