Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect was deployed through a reseller.

We handled everything in-house. 

We implemented it ourselves. We had only one person for this.

I implemented it myself.

For Enterprise Architect, it is usually very simple and I do it myself easily.

For efficient integration with other tools, I usually suggest going through a vendor team.

Implementation using in-house team.

We do not have a separate team that manages the solution. We all manage the solution.

In terms of the software solution, it doesn't take a lot of maintenance. It is like building out a library.

You can search for Business and Process Architects, who have limited technical expertise, and that can be a challenge. In that sense, we were very lucky to have a fantastic team of consultants, who had vast experience and knowledge in how to configure and adapt to meet our needs. They were also able to give us guidance when we were going down the wrong path.

In house implementation.

We had the help of the Sparx Enterprise consultants to set up this solution.

I am using Sparx as a client or a user of the tool, and as a user, I had to install the Sparx client on my machine. That was simple enough.

The configuration on these client machines is easy.   

I did the implementation of Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect myself. It's a long whole process to activate it and to be on the right path. It takes a lot of communication with the technical team.

We had help from the vendor for the implementation.

I did it myself. I did not take the help of any technical team of Sparx EA.

We did it in house. It is a simple installation. Also, setting up the key store for managing the floating licenses is no rocket science.

I implemented this solution by myself. You need a technical team with three to five people to deploy and maintain this solution.

We are implementing it on our own.

In house team. If you're thinking of scaling it up I would recommend linking the commitment to pay for the product to demonstration of the tools ability to support the team size and use you are proposing and ensure contracts are in place with tight SLAs if issues occur.

We did not need a vendor to assist us. We did not use a consultant or integrator. We implemented the solution ourselves and we were able to configure it in-house as well. 

In-house ( mostly myself)

Implementation and training was done in house under control of an experienced MDA practictioner. We did in fact train our partners.

Our IT department did the implementation of the solution.

Implementation is straight-forward but if this is for a group or large community then having an experienced database administrator and support resources in stewardship roles definitely help. Implementation of product like Sparx Enterprise Architect into Enterprise level Architecture practises usually warrants the establishment of principles practises and procedures to provide governance and support expected results. Tools are only what you make of them.

Sparx does not have a professional services team. They rely on a global network of partners. Medium/large organisations should engage one of these partners or bring in an experienced contractor, such as myself, to help them set up their model.

The initial setup was done with the help of their support teams, and all subsequent ones were done in-house.

A vendor performed the initial deployment. An instructor from Sparx introduced us to the product capabilities. They performed the deployment and tuning of the common storage and wrote the client installation script. they then supplied it to the infrastructure administrators and provided instructions.

I did the setup on my own based on the knowledge of the customer organization. I was supported by the external company that is experienced with the tool. I used different models for that.
