Before choosing this product, we also evaluated Tableau, MS Power BI, and Sisense.

We did review many other products and liked features of each. Qlik, Sisense, and Spotfire were three others seriously considered. In the end, it came down to feature set and price.

Birst was a choice, made prior to me joining the company. Even though I
am not the right person to comment on this, in my understanding Tableau, Crystal
and others were also being considered.

GoodData was an option; however, it did not fulfill the requirements as well as Birst did (one year ago).

I wasn't part of the decision-making process but I know they evaluated other products as well. Eventually, it was down to features and pricing.

We explored other alternatives, but there are no other solutions like Birst that do cloud BI analytics.

We evaluated Tableau, Looker, Business Objects, and QlikView.

Recently we have evaluated Looker, Sisense & Qlikview. Tableau seems to be the best amongst the lot. Sisense would follow thereafter.

As far as other products are concerned, I used Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) before using Birst. I am back to using it.
