Cohesity DataProtect Implementation Team
The solution's deployment time depends on the cluster size we are deploying. If I am deploying the twenty-node cluster, it will take around six to eight hours. The deployment time varies from node to node and the cluster size.

We have implemented this solution on two occasions. The first was with the Cohesity team, and the second was done with our in-house team.
View full review »We implemented the solution through an in-house team. A team consisting of five database engineers is needed to deploy the solution. The solution's deployment is very simple and involves setting up IP addresses, VLAN tagging, creating protection jobs, and creating replication.

We conducted a POC with testing and various evaluations, completing it in a couple of months. The deployment spanned across a broad range of systems, including both production and non-production, and we successfully implemented it within three months. This encompassed all our SAP systems, including ECC, BW, and others, up to ADA and earlier versions. Maintenance is necessary, but the majority of patches and updates at the cluster level can be seamlessly handled online.
View full review »Our Cohesity sales engineer along with an engineer from our VAR assisted in getting the solution in place. Each cluster in each location took a day to deploy.

I didn't install the solution myself. Another team, consisting of two to three engineers, installed the solution smoothly without any issues. The solution's deployment should not take more than a day or two.
