We performed a comparison between Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle Taleo based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Benefits Administration solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."What I like best about Oracle HCM Cloud is that its configuration is okay. I also like it in terms of updates. Product updates that take place from time to time improve Oracle HCM Cloud. What I also found valuable in the product is that since it's on cloud, you can work with it from any place."
"Oracle HCM Cloud's most valuable feature is that it is user-friendly."
"Our overall evaluation of Oracle HCM Cloud as a general ledger tool is mixed. It is a comprehensive and versatile piece of software."
"The core part and the talent management part are most valuable."
"This product can greatly improve handling of human resources and efficiency."
"The most valuable features of Oracle HCM Cloud are the easy ability to customize the solution and applications. Additionally, the solution updates the solution"
"The technical support is very good."
"We have not had any issues with the stability of this solution."
"The Talent Acquisition and Headhunting features are good."
"The solution offers good benefits for administrators."
"The stability of the solution is good."
"Good integration capabilities and extensibility."
"Performance and goal management are good to have, based on certain client requirements where the user base isn't too large, but the most workable domain of Taleo is the recruiting module."
"It is easy to use. Requisition management and pre-screening are the two most valuable features."
"The solution is stable and reliable."
"It would be very nice if we were able to roll back transactions from data that was loaded with the data loader."
"I was part of a program I went to where I had a discussion on the latest innovation of the Oracle HCM. I think some of the newer technology innovations, such as gamification and consumerization are areas that could be improved."
"I would like to see improvements in the user experience, specifically reducing the number of clicks required to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, enhancing the look and feel of the front end and allowing for a greater level of configuration would be beneficial. Its pricing should be less."
"We have received some unfavorable feedback regarding Oracle HCM Cloud's performance. This has led us to investigate alternative solutions. In my own experience, I have struggled with the slowness of the cloud assessment and the overwhelming complexity of the software's robust architecture. I have reservations about sharing any positive experiences I may have had with the solution."
"Oracle HCM Cloud could improve by adding AI and more offline capabilities."
"We're not receiving the proper support."
"It's not so easy to customize as it's cloud-based."
"The data uploading part and backup could be better. They are a bit complex. Oracle is continuously changing it from one functionality to another. It's a bit unstable right now, and it's basically on the backend data upload part. If I have to upload, for example, data for 100 employees, it's a bit of a challenge for an end-user. It can be difficult if you're not a technical person and an end-user like me. I administer the platform, and if I get a request to upload and I'm not a technical person, then I'm just lost. I have to do some research and then complete the task. But it's evolving, and I hope it's more user-friendly in the future. In the next release, I would like a more stable mobile application. The current version isn't very stable. It takes time to open, and although they have come up with new UI pages, a few open areas need to be addressed. I would also like to see more robust and user-friendly data uploading techniques that would be helpful for end users like us. We don't have a technical background, and we just want to upload the data for our day-to-day operations."
"The bulk recruitment feature does not work well."
"I don't see very valuable features in this product because it has an old way of interpreting ATS. It should be more flexible in managing datasets and data searches. The screening data is a long process in Taleo."
"It would be ideal if we could integrate the solution with Olympia. It would be helpful if we could add another support desk for an IT person. It would be great if the product was more interdisciplinary and could include IT."
"The pricing could be improved."
"In terms of Oracle Taleo as a product, there are a lot of things which can be developed; most feedback which I have heard from customers is about the dashboard and the home page, both of which are quite basic."
"There are always going to be little caveats here and there that you might not have known about as far as changes are concerned, however, it's not business-oriented to the point where the business shuts down."
"Lacks some systems that we need."
