I find the price of Apex One to be reasonable. The pricing varies from company to company. Your business will have a different price than what we have because the product's price depends on the number of users.

The product will likely cost more in the future because they are adding more features and will probably offer various modules, such as DLP. We will renew our license in 2025, so we will see if the price goes up.

It is okay. Compared to Sophos, it is a little bit expensive, but it is a good product and it is better than Sophos, for instance. It is equivalent to Trellix.

Its cost depends on the country. I am in Turkey, and Trend Micro is not so affordable in Turkey. SMB companies are looking for cheaper products. In Turkey, enterprise customers tend to use Trend Micro, and if they have more money, then they use next-generation antivirus or EPP products such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, or Microsoft E5 package.

The costs of the service fluctuate for us; I can't really say how much it costs our organization in general. I do know that it's not expensive. cost-wise, it's on the lower end of the spectrum. The licensing we have is all-inclusive; there aren't any extra costs involved. If we decide to stay with Trend Micro and upgrade to a better service, we'll be paying a higher price.

Apex One is expensive. On a scale of one to ten with ten being the most expensive, Apex One is an eight.

Initially, customers may be satisfied with the price of Apex One for the first year or two. However, as they become aware of other alternatives that meet their needs more effectively or at a lower cost, they start considering switching to a different option.

We are not required to buy new licenses. The existing licenses will expire and we have to renew the license.

The issue is that we have requested a web proxy, cloud proxy feature, but the cloud proxy, with Trend Micro, has a different console, it's a different agent.

But I understand other competitors like CrowdStrike and Sophos, have a single agent for anti-malware that includes the DLP, the device control, and the cloud proxy.

The price for Trend Micro is reasonable.

We have a small market in Bulgaria and the price is always the leading issue and the leading decision point. Trend Micro is a big vendor, one of the best vendors, in my opinion. For a couple of years they've been in the top three and top five as an antivirus solution. Therefore, the quality comes at a price. I try to explain to our customers and our clients that they are paying for quality. That said, due to the fact that Bulgaria is such a small market, the pricing doesn't match the expectations.

The price point is exceptionally competitive. And I find that in most cases it's actually better than the competition. When you start looking at everything that you're getting and you're lumping all of the stuff together, it is exceptionally competitive. It is not a cheap solution so if you want cheap, then you go with another solution. But from a corporate perspective, I think they are exceptionally reasonably priced. So much so that I think the displacing of the technology is going to be detrimental to any business because you're going to end up buying a much more inferior product.

If I compare Trend Micro Apex One with other solutions there are a few challenges for customers who have do not need more licenses. Sometimes the customers struggle because this product is totally an enterprise solution, and the price for the licenses can be expensive for individuals or small organizations.

The premium level features should be added to the general features.  It would be very helpful for general users because when we are trying to provide the premium features to the general users, sometimes it's very costly. If features are available for general users, it would extend their market globally.

It is a completely SaaS-based model.

Licensing costs depend completely on the number of users or licenses. They have a specific pricing structure. For example, if you are looking for 100 users to be on the product, in the Indian market (we're based in India), the cost is nearly $2,500 to $3,000 maximum for one three-year license. Whether the license is monthly or annual depends on the deal of the company. When a company is international it may have a global contract that would be relevant. Otherwise, the deal may vary according to the country or partner involved.
