Dell EMC VxBlock System Review

Has good performance and manageability

What is most valuable?

I like that it is manageable.

What needs improvement?

It's a good product but the price could be lowered. It's expensive. The total cost of ownership is a very important figure against quality and performance and pricing. It should be the total package and that is the reason why I think this is a very good product.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using this solution for one year.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is scalable. The system is built for customers.

How are customer service and technical support?

I have not needed technical support. Until now I don't need technical support.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We also used Dell, HPE, and sometimes Cisco.

VxBlock has good performance, so that is an advantage.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was straightforward. I have to do maintenance on it. That is the reason why I was searching for this kind of information.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate it an eight out of ten.

In the next release, I would like to see more performance, but every three months they increase this figure already.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

On-premises
