I saw that you evaluated other options like QlikView, Tableau and Cognos. Can you tell me please the main reason why you have selected Logi Info?

Can you please elaborate more on the licensing model of Logi Info. To be more specific, what you like about it.

Logi Info is licenced on a per-Server model with unlimited users as opposed to most other BI solutions which licence per user. Our requirement was for a solution with a high potential user count but low concurrency - typically no more than 10-20 users on at a time from a community of up to 300 - which made this licencing model much more attractive. Only other cost is for Developer Studios which are, again, a pretty reasonable one-off cost per developer.

That is really wonderful. With more users covered per license simply means Logi Info is more cost effective and thus perfect for SME or start-up businesses.

Apart from the licensing model and the deployment flexibility as well as speed of this product, what can you say about its functionality and features? Are they as good as other popular BI tools in the market or even better?

Functionality and feature set is, I believe, comparable with other toolsets at a broad level. Others are more targetted towards specific areas such as visualisations but then suffer in other areas such as reporting/data tables. Logi Info is a reasonable all-rounder covering the ability to reproduce old-fashioned reporting but then provide users with a migration path into visualisations and data mining within the same toolset.

Thank you for the explanation. With the functions Logi Info is best at in mind, when should a business consider buying and implementing this specific BI tool and not any other? Thank you.
