WhatsUp Gold Scalability

SyedKareemuddin - PeerSpot reviewer
IT Manager at COCA COLA

It is a scalable product. I would rate its scalability an eight out of ten.

We have between 300-400 users, but only one person is needed to maintain the solution.

It's a scalable solution. You can expand it if you need to.

We have three people working on the solution.

At this point in time, we do not have plans to increase usage.

On the scalability of the solution, I'm not sure what the average user of WhatsApp Gold, what size of network they're using it with. We were doing about 1000 to 1500 addresses. I feel that when you go about 1200 devices I start to feel that things go slower. I think that that's a step in scalability there. That's where it starts to have a few more issues. There's not been a problem so I have not researched if I need to put more CPUs and more RAM into it.

Since we predicted growth of the devices monitored under WUG, the product capability we purchased met our needs; and as we grow it accommodates the changes, so no issues.
