We primarily use the solution for a variety of use cases. These include holding technologies such as VMware, databases, web application servers, and copies, in some cases.
We use the solution for company management applications.
Our setup is only for single storage with Dell servers R620 and R630. We have 10 servers and we have deployed the ESXi on each one, with multiple VMs on each server. This solution is being used for testing purposes. We are testing for our clients that require any builder deployment. When our project is over, then we will restart this VM.
We primarily use the solution for its performance.
We are a Dell partner, and we're kind of like a hybrid type of partner that sells new products and also maintains a large stock of inventory. We build servers, storage, and solutions for clients and data centers. In terms of a specific use case, we build a lot of VMware vSAN in this solution.
Virtual Environment and performance enhancements for SQL applications and for future VDI implementations.
We are a reseller. Our customers use this solution for governing the system and for some specific applications. They are going towards the hyper-convergence infrastructure or HCI in Egypt. Our customers have on-premises and cloud deployments.
Currently, I work for a company partnered with Dell EMC; I used to work for another company, also partnered with Dell EMC.
We primarily used the solution for the servers. It's a node among many in a multiprocessor, supercomputer environment. It's a very verified application. The customer uses a lesser file system, which means that one file system is shared among the entire installation. You're not going to see that very often in your career unless you're in that business. It's a multi-node, high-performance computing file system. It's Linux based.
I use Dell R740 servers series as the main compute server to host IT workloads. It's an excellent choice and it's integrated well with Dell-VMWare virtualization OS (ESXi).
All of my server's requirements are currently using the Dell EMC PowerEdge Rack Servers.
We use it for main servers, database servers, and application servers.
We are a solution provider and this is one of the storage products that we implement for our clients.
We use the Dell EMC R730 Rack Server. We use it for virtualization and we have some servers and some desktop virtual machines running on it. We mostly use it for testing purposes. We also use the Dell EMC PowerEdge Rack Server to do QA testing for those applications. We create temporary virtual machines for this. Virtualization is one of our main use cases. Hosting web applications is another. We also use the Dell server for standard architecture like Microsoft Excel and Office applications,
We use the server as a database server. We use it to import Microsoft SQL 2014 and some IIS application servers.
We are comparing Dell and HPE edge servers. Any tips for what we should take into account when choosing between the two?
