While I haven't explored all aspects of Sectona, I would like to see future updates include robust support for cloud environments as organizations increasingly move towards cloud-based solutions. Additionally, incorporating more automation features into Sectona would be a valuable enhancement in keeping up with the trend toward automation in IT. Sectona PAM has room for improvement in its marketing strategy. They could focus on continuous updates and additions to enhance features and functionality. Additionally, expanding their reach globally and emphasizing unique selling points against competitors like Arcon PAM or CyberArk would contribute to increasing visibility and reputation.
There are some areas where the GUI could be improved to make it easier to find and update privileged settings and policies. For example, when creating a PAM policy for Privileged, some of the scroll boxes are difficult to navigate. It would be easier if there were one-click options for checking and unchecking boxes rather than having to scroll down and select individual items. This would make the GUI more user-friendly for administrators and SOC teams. So, I would like to see the GUI made more user-friendly, especially for administrators and SOC teams. In future releases, I would like to be able to manage Sectona PAM by location. For example, I'm the global headquarters lead in India, and we have 200 locations around the world. I would like to be able to create sub-locations, so that when I click on support for a location, the configuration is separate. However, the monitoring should still be at the parent level.
As I don't have at least one to two years of experience with Sectona Privileged Access Management, I cannot share areas for improvement in the solution. To me, Sectona Privileged Access Management has reasonable pricing, but it could still be improved. I'm also unsure if Sectona Privileged Access Management could cover the requirements of large-sized companies, but for small-sized to medium-sized companies, I'd recommend the solution.
