Combined 13 instances of Test Director, Quality Center and ALM into a single instance. The original directive was to combine the eight known QC instances into the enterprise instance and WTS instance of ALM. Over the life of the three year project, five additional instances were identified and consolidated. Many repositories had to be upgraded to the current version.
Prior to consolidation, go forward ALM repositories would have clean-up and size reduction occur on the original instance, rather than the never enforced agreement to reduce after consolidation.
After consolidation, ensure that the go forward repositories leverage the enterprise standard within a six month time period. Because the repositories were brought over as-is, the hoped for reduction in support and size were not realized.
