SnapLogic is a powerful Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) platform. The SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform uses AI-powered workflows to automate all stages of IT integration projects - design, development, deployment, and maintenance - whether on premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid settings. Both experts and non-experts can manage all application integration, data integration, API management, B2B integration, and data engineering projects on a single, scalable platform thanks to the platform's easy-to-use and self-service interface. SnapLogic allows businesses to swiftly and easily link all of their enterprise systems to automate business operations, accelerate analytics, and drive transformation.
SnapLogic’s top benefits include:
-
Fast, simple integration: SnapLogic's iPaaS contains more than 600 pre-built connections, known as Snaps, and pre-built end-to-end integrations, known as templates, for common business processes. Without any need to code, we are able to quickly develop integrations for new, improved workflows and outputs using pipeline templates.
- AI: Iris AI takes the uncertainty out of pipeline design by suggesting integrations with up to 90% accuracy. Pipeline templates and AI-guided recommendations shorten new user onboarding time and equip users with the tools they need to confidently develop pipelines that drive business results.
-
Smart architecture: SnapLogic's Intelligent Integration Platform is designed specifically for next-generation application and data integration, as well as for API administration. Through the Designer, Manager, and Monitoring Dashboard, the Intelligent Integration Platform controls orchestrations, schedules, connections, and security details. A Snaplex is a self-upgrading execution network that scales dependent on data processing volumes. It streams data between applications and data sources.
-
Self-service UX platform: On a platform with zero downtime, we utilize the cloud-based Designer to create integration pipelines, the Manager to administrate users and maintain integration assets, and the Dashboard to evaluate overall health and performance.
- SnapLogic Flows and Fast Data Loader: These are two non-technical user tools built on the platform. Fast Data Loader makes it simple for us to load data into a cloud data warehouse with predefined pipelines, while Flows allows the automation of operations.
SnapLogic also has a great set of features. Here are some that stand out to us::
- The solution can be used in a hybrid deployment. It's quite versatile, and we can use it as a database or a collection of cloud-based applications. Its deployment is quite fast.
- The solution is excellent for merging different apps.
- We have a semantic layer and can use APIs to pull all of the data from other applications.
- We use SnapLogic for data integration, data applications, and data migrations from SAP data to data in Amazon Redshift.
- SnapLogic is a solution based on artificial intelligence. It’s a low-code programming language. When designing pipelines, the quantity of coding necessary is minimal, as is the development time.
- SnapLogic helps with reducing delivery times and sending large volumes. The master data management, use-cases, Big Data, integration and high-volume data transfers are all excellent.
- The solution is useful because it is extremely adjustable. You can connect to any system by following the snaps, which are connectors. You have the option of writing a custom JavaScript or Python script if necessary. We can work with a variety of software, including Jira.
- We've been impressed with SnapLogic’s stability. There are no glitches, crashes, or freezes. The output is consistent.
- SnapLogic's scalability is yet another advantage. If your corporation needs to expand, there should be no problems. Simply add more servers, and one SnapLock will function as your workspace. Physical scalability is provided by the ability to add more servers; however, logical scalability is provided by the ability to construct different snap clicks and workspaces. You can still have multiple workspaces - one for development and another for UAT or production - even if you only have one organization. They'd all be under the aegis of the same organization.
- Another useful characteristic is how simple it is to get started. It's really just a matter of dragging and dropping. The user interface is straightforward. Anyone can easily pick it up and adopt it. You don't need to set up anything because you're using a browser to access that platform. You can employ a cloud-based pre-configured system and easily install your own ground techs. This implies you can set up your business on your server. The deployment is rather quick, usually taking less than an hour.
SnapLogic does have a few drawbacks:
- For starters, the solution isn't suited for complicated logic or processing. For some users, a different solution may be required.
- In addition, the most significant change they can make is in the area of support. Better support, more online lessons, online certification classes, and better marketing oriented at large businesses and showing them how this system can meet their requirements are all things I'd want to see in a future release.
