Easy to set up and good pricing with a good root cause analysis feature


What is our primary use case?

We primarily use the solution for complete log monitoring and management.

How has it helped my organization?

We're able to use the solution to analyze all of our logs, for years to come.

What is most valuable?

The root cause analysis feature is very valuable.

What needs improvement?

I don't use the solution on a day to day basis, so I'm not sure what specifically can be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've been using the solution for three years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We have quite a few licenses, so for us, it isn't too hard to scale. Right now, we only have 15 users on the solution.

How are customer service and technical support?

Personally, I don't log calls with technical support. We do, however, have an interior team that can assist with troubleshooting.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We didn't previously use a different solution.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup was easy.

What about the implementation team?

We have our own interior team that handles the product.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The price of the solution is reasonable.

What other advice do I have?

We use the on-premises deployment model. We're also platinum partners.

In terms of advice to others, if they're looking for a basic VMware solution, it's okay. We've tried other options. Log Insight seems to be better than other solutions in terms of very good integrations and working out items to be able to log.

I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. All of our must-haves are available in this product.
