What is most valuable?

* Planning module: I use it for wireless network deployment during construction stages. * Survey module: Provides a wireless coverage map and spectrum data integration. This is useful for checking wireless coverage and performance.

AirMagnet Survey very useful for designing and deploying wireless 802.11n/a/b/g/ac projects, in any companies from small offices to large campus buildings.

What is most valuable?

The object database is simply fantastic. It saves a lot of time when creating a new project.

How has it helped my organization?

The iBwave WiFi was really useful in terms of time saving for predictions and validation of RF coverages. A very good instrument to create professional documents for customers and their IT staff.

What needs improvement?

Surely, one improvement could involve the materials panel in the prediction tool. For example, there are some materials missing in the materials list, like metallic shelves in a warehouse, metallic floors (mezzanine). In the iBwave software... more»

What is most valuable?

The most valuable features are the ability to read existing WiFi services and to produce a reliable report on coverage.

How has it helped my organization?

It allows me to conduct more in-depth surveys, produce better proposals.

What needs improvement?

The coverage patterns / strengths built into the inventory of APs in Ekahau is overly optimistic or too generous. We tested several models of Cisco and Ubiquiti devices in open areas and found that reality versus the Ekahau predictive values... more»
