ManageEngine OpManager Initial Setup
The initial setup is not difficult. I rate it an eight out of ten. Deployment takes less than one hour to divide properly with all the configurations and parameters. We had eight people involved in deployment, two from our organization and six from Dynatrace. However, our company is very large, and it has thousands of servers, so it has taken about seven months to deploy.

In terms of deployment, it's a fairly straightforward initial discovery process.
We had so many modules, including the firewall monitor, et cetera. It was deployed over several months. It took about three months.
It is not difficult to maintain the solution.

The setup was easy. When it comes to setup with Sophos, the setup is easy. Quite straightforward. But when it comes to actually managing or monitoring the solution, the policies, so the worst part of the product is Sophos abruptly or suddenly changes its policies. It does a lot of things in the background, and the administrator is not at all aware of it. So, it becomes very difficult for the administrator to troubleshoot the exact issue that probably got caused because of Sophos. So, the management of Sophos is difficult.
The deployment took a couple of days.

The setup is straightforward. The only thing that takes time is registering every device that is in the network. For every switch, you need to provide its credentials. For every router, the same. So every device needs to be enrolled in the platform. That takes some manual labor, especially if there are different accounts for each device. You have to enroll them, create the keys, create the credentials, then enroll them.
Installing the solution takes two to three hours. Configuring the solution and implementing every device in a network can take from days to maybe months. It depends on the number of devices and the complexity of the architecture where it is installed.

It's a bit complex to set up. There are too many customizations that are difficult to get around.
I'd rate the ease of implementation two out of ten.

With regard to configurations, however, it would be nice to have more documentation on SNMP configurations. For example, if I want to add a new vendor, it would be great if ManageEngine provided the requirements for that vendor, such as the commands needed.
