As a PaaS solution, it should be easier to maintain. It automated the way we did system integrations.

What is most valuable?

The capacity to integrate between many different sources. There are adapters which make it easier to build integrations between different technologies.

How has it helped my organization?

It automated the way we did system integrations. Now, information is available on different systems to the correct people.

What needs improvement?

As PaaS solution in the cloud, it should be easy to maintain this solution. As a PaaS product, I expected less actions to maintain the server.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It is an interesting solution, but only if you get a good price for it. Usually there are better options in the market with better prices.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Previously, I used to use cheaper solutions. We use this one now because we wanted to keep the same provider from another solution that we bought before.

What other advice do I have?

Get good support from Oracle. Do not think it is easy to start developing in this tool, because there are many errors in it.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We evaluated Pentaho, Microsoft SSIS, and Java Native.

Offers integration with many technologies for your applications but the suite should be simplified

What do you think of Oracle SOA Cloud Service?

What is our primary use case?

We use Oracle SOA for teaching processes only. We have about forty users on the platform at a time.

What is most valuable?

I like the amount of technology that is involved in the Oracle SOA Suite. You can use a lot of technologies.

What needs improvement?

The Oracle SOA Suite could be simplified. Currently, it is pretty difficult.

For how long have I used the solution?

We have been using the Oracle SOA suite for three years. We use it on-premise not in the cloud.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Oracle SOA is stable.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend Oracle SOA to others. I would rate it at a seven out of ten. I think it could be a better solution.
