Is FalconStor the best Virtual Tape Library on the market?

I work for a tech company that specializes in protecting and conserving companies' assets. We respond to diverse needs related to Disaster Recovery.  

I have found FalconStor to be very solid but which are its main competitors? Would you recommend another solution over FalconStor? 

Is FalconStor VTL an End of Life solution?

People often compare FalconStor with Exagrid (www.itcentralstation.com) and Dell PowerVault (www.itcentralstation.com).

Have you looked into either of those?
