I can't speak to the licensing. It's not an aspect I handle directly. I can't say that there are extra costs involved beyond the licensing fee.

There is a component of monthly and yearly costs depending on the product. Ongoing costs are something that we need to manage and make sure that we're getting value on. But with feeding the data back in and the capability, we're hoping that it will pay for itself in the monitoring tools and the ability to go past just the different baselines of stability and scalability to actually make sure that we're proactive in keeping our networks alive.

We pay an annual licensing fee. In the past, they would sometimes be more expensive than Fortinet, however, we have noticed that their pricing has come down a bit and now they are very reasonable.

In general, their price definitely couldn't be cheaper.

I do not handle the licensing arrangements. That's handled by management. Therefore, I can't speak to how much it costs the organization or how often we pay a licensing fee.

Its price is reasonable. In India, most of the products have a similar price. There is only a 5% to 10% variation in the price of different brands.

The price could improve, it is a bit expensive. Our licensing cost is approximately $120.00 USD annually. There are some extra fees, for example, the GUI has an orchestrator that has its own fees.

It is on a subscription basis, mostly yearly. It totally depends on the customer. The customer gets a discount on the hardware.

This is an expensive product. The buying power of companies in my region is such that perhaps 5% of them are pretty good. The majority of them are very bad in terms of buying power, so they look at the cost of these solutions and Juniper is not able to match the price.

The pricing is a bit expensive. They need to work on their pricing models.

One of the main reasons for dismantling this solution is that were asked to migrate the old books to the new books using Juniper and to transfer the policies and firewalls by using licensing. It was very expensive to upgrade to their products. The product itself is costly and the price of migration is very high.

The pricing of the product is pretty good. It's less than Cisco, which can be expensive for some organizations.

We buy the license from our reseller and implement the license for our clients. With Jupiter, we sell IT services such as perimeter security. The client can buy his own firewall or we can buy it for the clients if they would like us to. We don't have a focus on selling equipment, however.

Compared to other vendors, the pricing of this solution is good.

We extend the license yearly and the prices, because of the sanctions, are expensive and costs much more compared to other solutions. It's pricey compared to other locations where there are representatives and you can buy directly from them.

The price of this solution is more than other products, but it's stable, and the technical support is better than I have seen with others.

There was no additional licensing cost because there were no IPS services. It was just a firewall IP circuit router so they have the default licensing. We just need to renew the support yearly.

While the price of support is expensive, the price of the solution, itself, is not. The problem came about when we tried switching to Cisco and discontinued our support. In order to subscribe again later, we had to pay a reinstatement fee. We found out that if you have not used the product for a certain period of time, you have to pay for this period before paying for a new year of support. Say, for example, that you don't pay for support for one year. That year must be paid for, first, before getting support. That is why I am saying that support is expensive, in my opinion.

The pricing is perhaps half to around forty percent of Cisco.

Licensing which covers maintenance is on an annual basis. Our customers are on one-year contracts. There are additional cost above and beyond the standard licensing fees.

The direct support with Juniper is expensive. When you stop using the solution and miss one year of payments, if you want the support back on a specific node, they ask you to pay for the year that you haven't used the node.

In terms of pricing, Juniper is in the middle. The most expensive firewall is Palo Alto. If a customer wants the cheapest price they should go for FortiGate. Juniper is in between these products.

Small enterprises or telco have variant licenses, and this licensing model should be improved.

Pricing is good. Most of the costs are in the UTM (IDS/IPS, virus scanning, etc.) subscription. Palo Alto was nice, but much more expensive.
