CoOrdinated Conversion to Endevor from Home Grown Librarian based System. The project took several years to complete, mostly because of resistance from developers and their management. We had to change the culture as well as the processes themselves.
I would take more time to learn the product before the setup was set in stone. I would use a CA installer instead of a third party. I would talk to other users and ask more product specific questions about their install and setup BEFORE proceeding.
