However, if there's room for it to be made more cost-effective, that would be preferable. Previously, a similar license cost us less than $1000, but now it's nearly $12,000 due to some automatic changes.
We hold an annual license, and their pricing is competitive, falling into the affordable range. I would rate it around three or four in terms of cost-effectiveness. However, deploying these servers onto a background server would incur additional costs for the management service.
The licensing is pretty high. They need to fix it so that they are more competitive. The customer needs to pay the cost of the license on a yearly basis.
The product was part of an enterprise solution. Therefore, the pricing was tucked in as part of other Symantec products. It was part of a bundle procurement. There was an antivirus, endpoint encryption, and a whole lot of other Symantec products bundled together. My understanding is that everything was under a yearly subscription, however, I can't speak to the exact price of the bundle.
I personally think that the pricing is fair. On the other hand, and I think it is because the company is not stable from the division perspective that there are some issues in the price list and with the distributor in Egypt. They have some workarounds for this to mitigate the issue. But in the past, the company and the pricing were more stable than nowadays.

I am not sure of the licensing fees. I presume there are packages based on what you use. We have three modules (for messaging, disk encryption and shared folders). I believe there are five modules, but we have three out of five. The price scales depending on the number of modules that we use.

The price is very good. They have two solutions for encryption including Symantec Endpoint Encryption and PGP Endpoint Encryption. With one PGP license, you can deploy the two solutions. The PGP license gives you two options.
